probably honey pot on soi honey would suit you, owner is a board member here so can give you advice on your first trip. diana is a bit louder at night time and has traffic so might be more annoying if your not a heavy sleeper

Not a lot of places on Diana to overlook the street. Soi Honey or LK Metro if you don't mind noise to 3am.

got to agree about the noise, I stayed one time at charlies place on soi Diana, no balcony but window overlooking the street, it was so noisy I lasted 2 nights before I had to move, after all the noise and hustle and bustle from the bars and gogo's its nice to have a quiet location to retreat to.

soi honey has intown hotel, which has a great breakfast for 100 THB. or opposite there is new star hotel. both have rooms overlooking soi. some with balcony. soi honey is great for people watching. prices 500 THB and up depending on what level of comfort you want.

just because i am paranoid does not mean that they are not following me.

Robins Nest on Diana is a great guest house and sports bar but unless the Karaoke opposite has burnt to the ground, ( hopefully ) then you will be blessed until 2am by the same songs at distortion volume levels.. I stay in the back but no balcony... I just smoke out the window lol

...Using the force, one bar at a time

Scenic City hotel on Sio Honey gets my vote. Front side with Balcony. Basic modern room with suited me fine. 24/7 also down the soi closer to LK Metro end has good reviews.
