China weakens yuan 0.51% against dollar, most since August

SHANGHAI - China weakened the value of its yuan currency by 0.51 percent to 6.5646 against the US dollar on Thursday, figures from the China Foreign Exchange Trade System showed.

0.51%, that's not a lot really.

The usd is on the rise against ALL currencies due to the recent hike in interest rates.

 

Try comparing the Yuan to any other currency. It's complete unchanged over the last 2 years.
