Hi guys

I'll be heading out to Pattaya in April for 3 weeks to see my good friend Lee, who did a couple of trip reports that you can see here and here if you are interested.

I've been looking at a few places (April Suites, KTK Residence) but would just like any recommendations you may have? Ideally I am looking for something modern and that doesn't look too dated. My budget is around 1500 baht per night however I can move on this if the place is really nice.

Does anyone have experience of booking Airbnb rooms on their trips to Pattaya? Are these completely out of the question in relation to being girl friendly etc? I saw this room which is extremely cheap and really nice?

As of yet I am just looking into locations and again, I am not 100% clued up on where I need to be to be in the midst of the bars and clubs (IBar etc) so any guidance on this is also welcomed.

Somewhere that is girl friendly is a must. This is my first trip to Thailand and I want to experience it all!

Appreciate your time guys

Cheers

Nathan

He's in Khon Kaen but making the trip down. He's lived there for a while now and seems to be going well :). Cheers for the recommendation, will be making a TR myself!

I just had a look at the link for April Suites. There's a review there which says there's a 500 baht joiner fee for second guest. Does that mean an extra 500 for a threesome?

Yes
