Porn Ping hotel is ok. Shitty rooms but good views and location. Bubbles disco and another club downstairs. Daytime young hotty short time action at Sayuri. Its like a different world up there.

I've stayed at this place quite a bit. Clean, quiet, convenient.  Family run. They have 3 locations under the same name. The owner's Farang husband bought and built it, she then promptly divorced him.

Amora and Empress are two good mid priced hotels, nice rooms and decent breakfast.

Look up "Raming Lodge" on Agoda.

Stayed there a few time a couple of years ago.

Nice cheap place near all the limited action.

Only negative was the bloody tuk tuk drivers hounding you as you leave the hotel.

I've stayed likewise low season and was only 800 Baht a night including 2 Buffet breakfasts. The reception area is something else !!

Not bad for a joint with a nice pool in that location. Handy to night market and other stuff. I remember being a little bit hungover in that breakfast room.

Such a nice part of Thailand. I miss it and Udon too.
