VT6 equals View Talay 6. It's the name of the building, not company names.

There's at least 2 companies that are well known for renting in VT6, Dancewatchers and Honey's (you can google either) and I'm sure there's others.

Cheers

With Agoda you have no guarantee of which room you will be allocated until you arrive...much better to use one of the above reccomendations.....im there January....for the 3rd time

Hi    Does anybody know what the wifi is like in VT6 ?

thanks   gasman

i would have thought it would depend on the room you rent.

it is a condo not a hotel

Does each condo have a separate wifi service or is there a central router in the building ?

The room I stayed in during the month of September had it's own wifi system. I would assume it is that way throughout the complex.

For what it's worth, I used Dancewatchers to book my room and everything went well. I even used them for private transport to and from Bangkok.

Separate wifi in the 3 different condo's I've stayed in via Dancewatchers in VT2 and VT6.

Dancewatchers are pretty slick. I've used them three times and it's all worked well. The rooms all had wifi boxes but I think they all come off the same building feed. For some strange reason early morning  there is a patch where the link is wobbly but mostly the service is fine. And the growing number of smart TVs in the rooms mean its really simple to streem stuff right off your laptop.

Hello, does the security at VT6 collect the girls ID or are they just able to go to room. Thanks

Security will collect ID and enter details in their log book.

Security will collect ID if you ask them, but generally up to you. I suppose if the guard spots a guest who's caused trouble before or looks like they'll cause trouble, they'll do the ID thing proactively, or maybe tell you that you're potentially in for trouble with your guest. It's worthwhile to be friendly and get to know the guards a little bit. Even a small tip every once in a while (emphasis on small and not too often) will make sure they watch your back.

This is a mixed building - some Thai family vacation condos, and some mongers. Everyone seems to live and let live.

First time going to Pattaya and was wondering is booking these apartments advisable for a first timer or should I just stick to a normal hotel?

And is there daily cleaners going in to change sheets and clean the bathroom? Was going to book April Suites but the location of vt6 seems better and I'm not sure if ladies will appreciate the walk to April Suites.

The location of VT6 is arguably the best in Pattaya (for accommodations) so if that's important to you, then it's easy.

Regarding cleaning, SOME include it some do NOT depending on the rental agency. There are also several room cleaners, starting at 180B/cleaning, in the building who do one-offs all the time.

I would say it depends primarily upon how long you are going to be in town. My personal suggestion is that if you're staying a couple weeks or less, use a hotel; if a month or more look for a condo. Often there is a discount staying 30+ days.

As Galt said, some places will have cleaning included and some will not; and the frequency will vary.

If it's important that you have your room tidied up daily, stay in a hotel.  I know how to make my bed and not make a mess in the bathroom, so when I stay at VT6 I just go with the included once a week cleaning/linen change with my reservation; if I need more than that I can just go downstairs and ask for a maid to stop by for a nominal fee.

Thanks for clearing that up. It's not the mess in the room I was concerned I can do that but mainly the sheets may need changing daily at times! I'm only there for a week maybe I should stick with a hotel but they're isn't much price between vt6 and Areca and the apartment seems pretty big so like I said elsewhere after looking at the photos I thought to myself I can do it there there and there.

If your looking for a hotel and were thinking April Suites, I'd recommend August Suites instead, better location and bigger rooms, their Executive rooms are particularly nice.
