sony dsc-hx400

just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the sony dsc-hx400....thinking of getting one before i move over...thanks karl

This is a big camera ...with great features. More like an SLR.

Sony's have great cameras. I'm using the DSC HX60V (20.4MP 30xOptical).

It uses a new battery. Different to the one on 40V Model.

The flash is strong and Pops Up. But you need to do this manually.

The focus response time is the thing that is meant to make the Sonys better.

I used the earlier Panasonic Lumix Equivalent.

I believe the Lumix is a better Camera.

Best way to decide is one price, as they are very similar.

The HX400 has a cracking little feature if you are using the auto modes.

You press the down on the back wheel and you get access to a secret menu.

There you can change the exposure value, white balance and colour density.
