Pope recognises second Mother Teresa miracle, sainthood expected

KOLKATA - Pope Francis has recognised a second miracle attributed to the late Mother Teresa, clearing the path for the beloved nun to be elevated to sainthood next year, the archbishop of Kolkata said Friday.

what she did all her life lots of people would call 'good'  and some little voice in my head can agree..

living like that 'for me' would be very bad..  not  'good'..  because i live selfish ..

pushing faith on the vulnerable..  that i would not call good ..    that's all i have to say..

This is all bollox (as is all religion). The second miracle attributed to her was supposedly curing a womans cancerous tumour growth just by the woman looking in to M Teresa's eyes in a photo. But the Dr of the woman said she never had a cancerous tumour and what she had would have helped just by her taking the pills he had prescribed. But the church overlooked this as they are desperate for her to become a saint (then again all these miracles and sightings are by kids, half-wits and nutters).

 

Also is she a saint or sinner. She raised over $100 m but only 5% found its way back to her foundation centres, which were all run down and not much better than ghettos and places to die. She was a complete publicity junkie and desperate for fame and fortune. She also believed in Redemptive suffering, believing that suffering and poverty got you closer to God, so she never gave out pain relief pills or medicine at her centres or had trained doctors, so lots of people died in agony. Not for her though, she was always treated in the US for any medical problems. 

 

I think she was a self serving publicity slut, but then again all religion is bollox, and hype is always bigger than substance.

ok.. it seems her order had enough funds..  but did not support pain medication..  as it was 'a blessing to partake in the suffering of christ' ..

so ..no 70 guys for her then ..  but the devils' dildo  : p
