Residents in three tambons of Sa Kaew's Wattana Nakhon district have been affected - nearly 100 families had to flee from homes - as a fire at a municipal dumpsite sent thick black smoke to areas within its five kilometre radius. The site reportedly contained 50,000 tonnes of garbage pending disposal.
