Would never fly through Bejing or this airline, but could have scored a $598 r/t from Houston to Bangkok for February during their Black Friday Sale this week. Had decent layover times of 3 hours or less too. Could not pull the trigger.

Fucking bullshit! I paid more than that from Beijing to Thailand and I booked 6 months in advance!

currently, and has for quite a while now, £350 return from London/Bangkok, 4.5hr stopover and loads of dates.

I've booked with Air China for my Feb trip; nice price at £340 with just a 1 hour 50 min stopover in Beijing, wondering how shit the flight will be though.
