new visa rules? confused?

I am in pattaya now on a triple entry tourist visa(the old visa which i got in London ), i am hoping to stay until the end of may. I will be doing my first border run end of this month. But i have heard that they are not honoring what will be the 3rd entry(because of this new 6 month visa) which will be my last 60 days from Cambodia and then to jomtien for the final 30 days taking me to 9 months or near as. Can anyone shed some light on this please????

Others who are more informed may comment (or try ThaiVisa) but I don't see why your 3 entries shouldn't be honoured.  The double/triple entry tourist visas may have been discontinued from 13 November, but if you were issued with one before then, I think you should be fine.

This is what I was thinking. If you are concerned perhaps pay a visit to the immigration office in Jomtien and check.
