Mr Jacks Grade AAA Copy Watches

Recommended Posts

Can anyone on the ground tell me what stock jack has at the moment i have a close friend in pattaya for the next 2 weeks i would like him to bring me home good quality fake watch

Jack can get you pretty much anything you want form his source in Bangkok. I'd take a look at the internet to those sites that are mentioned earlier in this threat (Toro, Puretime, TSwathces) and find the model I liked and then I'd send the pics to my friend so he can ask Jack if he can get it for you and what price. It only takes him a coupe of days to get the watch.

That's not accurate at all! The selection of watches he can source is very limited, especially in the real high end stuff (10k & up).

There was a Sinn I wanted that I asked Jack about for at least 3 years before I ordered it from Puretime. More recently it took 3 trips over about a year to get another one......and there's one right now that I'd like that I'm *hoping* he can get but not holding my breath.

Well I never had a probelm getting my own requests from Jack filled.

But, if you are really looking for something that is hard to find you are best off asking trusted dealers like Toro bravo or Puretime directly. Toro is based in China where the watches are actually made and I never sent him a request he didn't say he could fill. Even for something that was sold out everywhere else.

You are totally missing the point, the reason why i wear and own up at will to my watches being fakes is quite simply "i like the watches" but am not prepared to pay the cost of the genuine article and here in Thailand everyone thinks your high end watch is a fake despite what you may say.

"In Thailand its not real unless its a fake"

I could be missing the point but I don't think so.

I wouldn't buy a fake designer shirt (hugo boss for example) because I'd prefer to wear the real thing with the quality fabric, stitching and perfect fit. Sure, I could buy a fake hugo boss but the only resemblance would be a hugo boss logo. So again, why buy the fake? The answer can't be "I like hugo boss shirts" because it's not a hugo boss shirt.

Probably wouldn't buy "Fake Viagra" because it would probably be inferior. You would have no idea whats in it or even who made it. You'd be a lot better off with a generic brand Viagra than a fake. At least a real company manufactured it.

Fake watches are total crap. I went through a similar craze years ago buying fake watches in Thailand (some "high-end") not one of them is still working. And most fell apart within 12 months. Should have saved all my money on fake items for a genuine timepiece that might outlive me.

The high end stuff is harder to get. Jack told me when they come in they go very fast. The watch that took 3 trips for me to get was a DSSD, usually not hard to get at all. The one I want now is the Omega Spectre, been out on the sites for months. Again, not an unusual request but he hasn't been able to get a high end one yet and I've been asking for 5 weeks.

I know the lower quality 3k versions are in higher supply, my point simply was you cannot just tell him what you want and he'll get it.

The Sinn was the last watch I got from Puretime. The thing was in pathetic shape when it arrived, crown immediatly pulled right out of it. I decided rather than spend 2 months shipping it back and waiting for it I just brought it here and had Jack fix it. It had a broken flywheel, mismatched screws in abundance......and the mov't was very old and in desperate need of a thorough cleaning. It was not a good experience, I'd much rather buy from Jack - so unless there's something I really want and can't get elsewhere, I'll stick to him.

You are, completely. I don't see the point in arguing with you about it, I don't really feel any urge to try to convince you. I like watches, have many......some real, some replicas. I don't try to bullshit anyone about their authenticity, it's a fun hobby for ME.

The point is, this is a thread about high end watches from Jack. What I really don't get is why you feel the urge to post here, given your opinions. It's really like the people who go in threads about Russian girls and write "You should go to Russia........." or a thread about where to get a good hamburger "I don't go to Thailand to eat western food......" A couple of weeks ago another member of the brain trust actually wrote "well, I'm not there so it doesn't affect me". Now that was a helpful post!

FFS, you don't get it....it's not for you. I imagine there are a lot of things in life you don't get.......

Thanks for taking the time to explain to NW but i fear its somewhat pointless, thats why i won't be bothering.

A U1. I really like the look/style of it.......it's one I would consider getting an original version of someday. So many hassles with the one from Puretime though. They advertised and sold it with a used authentic ETA mov't, but I didn't expect it to be broken, held together with improper screws and WAY overdue for servicing. I'm really not impressed with the their QA after that episode. I was a bit weary of the used mov't but that was the only option......not sure why they didn't offer it with a Chinese rep mov't.

Sorry you've had such bad luck with Puretime. I have used Toro a couple of times and they are very good. You can also send an email asking for a specific watch. The guy is very responsive.

The cheapest option may be just to get a new movement and have Jack or another watchsmith swap it in for you. I think that watch takes an ETA 2836-2 movement which is quite common and you should be able to get one online. Maybe try yukiwatch.com

Just out of interest I took my Rolly into a Rolex approved jewellers yesterday to get a quote for a 'service'. Answer was £520 plus £400 as the bracelet is 28 years old and loose. Time scale minimum 8 weeks!

Been singing the praises about buying the 'real thing' earlier on and I still think it's a good long term buy, but when mine stops next it will be in it's box in the drawer for the duration and replaced by a simple CWC military quartz. :)

This is a Royal Navy issue one (to 300m depth) and they build their watches to last like a tank.

A friend of mine used to sell them

it was a few years back but I think he used to pay about 1500THB for a grade A

But that was in pat pong night market in Bangkok

So I would guess 2000-2500 Is a fair price if you are only buying one

Got to disagree with you.

As someone who has previously owned a real Rolex Sub, I don't agree that fake watches are 'total crap' and am not in the slightest disappointed in the copies from Mr Jack.

OK guys, there are a few changes with Mr Jack. The first is that he carries absolutely no stock - none! That said, he has revamped his ipad cataloge and can guarantee next day delivery. The second change is that his sister is dealing with the copies and Jack is focusing on the repairs.

I bought the missus a really nice fake TAG - pics to follow.

Hello All,

Will be arriving in pattaya on the 19th March. Must admit that I am not particularly knowledgeable about watches but would like to have a reasonable Rolex copy (I like the Explorer and GMT-Master models). My question to you, more experienced, guys is the following:

1. Will Mr Jacks be OK dealing with a new customer that is not introduced to him?

2. Can I be reasonably confident that he will not take advantage of my lack of knowledge about these watches?

I really just want something that I like and enjoy, and have no illusions of grandeur or any need to try and pass the watch off as anything other than a copy. But I am a bit nervous about getting ripped off.

Any advice is most welcome.

He never did really just the odd watch probably that somebody ordered but never collected. I've only ever bought one watch I didn't have to order. If he's cleared out all of the odd ones he did have maybe he's been tipped of a raid may be on the cards?

Hi Mate - Mr Jack's business is built on 'word of mouth', so his reputation means a lot to him. He is not a rip-off merchant.

Just go in and ask Mr Jack (or his sister) 'can I look at ipad for copy watches'? They have 2 ipads on the counter - select the watch you want and they will quote you a price (basic grade is about 2,500THB - these are very reliable and are miles better than anything from the street vendors). Collect after 6pm the next day. Note, you only pay when you collect the watch. The old guy in the shop will then check the watch over, battery/waterproof etc.

Mate.

no probs at all. My understanding is sister/sister inlaw is taking care of the copies as he is indated with repairs. He will be there if you prefer to deal with him. But its a professionaly run establishment. Towards the back of the shop you will see tablet/s charging on the bench, just walk over and view the catalogue. Anything specific just ask. Jack is a top bloke. My recommendation is to ask if the watch you purchase can be pressurized and get it done as you can go swimming with it. Regardless he will advise

good luck
