Since the baht bus will cost you 20 baht total, going from Pattaya to Jomtien and back. I suppose it would be fair to negotiate a 20 baht discount on the BF.

The vast majority of beer bars in Jomtien have a Barfine rate of 300Baht which is cheaper then Pattaya where the standard seems to be 500/600 in beer bars and even 1000 and upwards in GoGo's.

Obviously girls make their own prices, but i would say that girls in Jomtien ask for lower prices overall.

Had several ST's for 500 baht. No idea about LT rates since i don't LT.

 

So yes, overall i would say Jomtien is quite a bit cheaper not only when it comes to drinks but also in the girls department.

But finding a girl you like in Jomtien will take more work then it would in Pattaya. The overall average age of a working girl in Jomtien is considerably higher then in Pattaya.

That said, there are more then enough great looking young girls in Jomtien despite what other BM's might let you believe.

I just read your post in the other Jomtien thread and, although I was making a poor attempt at humour here its really not too disant a relative from the truth.

 

You agreed that the "girls" are, well ...probably very nice people if you can get past the superficiality of their looks, to put it kindly.

 

The simple fact is lookers go to where the money is and thats Pattaya, not many 2 week millionaires in Jomtien.

 

I do though take your points about being cooler, having  far more condo options very near to the beach and for far less money than in Pattaya.

 

Its just the backwards and forwards between the 2 that is a deal breaker for me but I know many guys find that zero problem and actually prefer to stay in Jomtien.

 

Enjoy your trip next summer, as of course I'm sure you will, wherever you chose to stay.

If it was just me and if I was only thinking of the holiday then I'd probably choose Central Pattaya.

I'll be meeting friends again, one of whom has a family and will be staying in Jomtien.

Also, I still harbour hopes of being able to stay in TLOS longer term at some point and think I may prefer Jomtien for this. Seems to make sense to spend more time there to see how I find it.

I'll enjoy either way.

So that's by my reckoning about 384 euros a month. Recently they seem to be averaging about 1.5-2k depending on their looks and body and age. But as Jomtien is slower and girls in less demand on certain nights compare to Pattaya, they will be more flexible in a lower price. So the final resulting answer will be "maybe" (but dont count on it).

 But the days of getting one for 1k LT even in Jomtien seems to be over as I was unable to get one below 1.5k even with the older, fattier ones. But then I'm not a handsum man nor a good negotiator. So some of you may still be able to get it on the cheap in Jomtien.

My experience differs from yours. All girls I currently take from the Rompho complex go for 1k baht though I tip them 200 baht. This is for older (30+) and no fatties.

Good to know 1k still exist (I assume you took them LT). I didnt have any luck as most wont budge on anything below 1.5k. I guess I need to sharpen up my negotiation skills.

I don't even bother with girls in their mid 20s and go for girls in their 30s and up. For me,  older girls seems to give better performance and are more low key/relaxed. Good luck on finding a good looking girl in her mid twenties LT in Jomtien. If they're there, it's for a week and then they move onto Pattaya, as you've pointed out. If you do find one she will likely be farm fresh and not speak English.
