Room with a view wanted LK Metro area

Hi a great part of our stay in Patts is people watching just sat with a beer and watch the world go by.

 

Looking for a deluxe room or suite ( hotel or apartment ) in LK Metro or Soi Diana area with a good street view, getting a bit pissed off with a city view which turns out to be another hotel less than 20 yards away and can't see the skyline.

 

Loud music is no major concern cost no real problem but must be clean with tasteful decor.

 

Sounds picky but it's out holiday so needs to be right.

Balcony rooms in Robins Nest gets quite a few votes.

LK Metropole has some that over look the pool and driveway, so you should be able to see Soi Diana from there. You'd probably need to specify that you want that, I usually end up with a room that overlooks the other buildings in the area but I haven't really cared much about that.

Balcony rooms in Robins Nest gets quite a few votes.

 

Agree 100%  - get a room on 3rd Floor facing front (Soi Diana) with balcony and watch the street life below. And at 900 baht a night in March, its pretty good value too.
