D apartments soi buakhow

Nothing wrong with D Apartments. I lived there 3 months. There's a pool on the roof. The entire staff are perfect.

I also lived at Thep Apartment next door which is inexpensive and the rooms are large. The office staff were "challenging."

Thep has a jacuzzi on the roof.

Exactly where is it located if coming from the corner of Soi Bukhao and Soi Diana? Thanks.

Easier to explain location if you start at the corner of Bukhoa and Pattaya Klang. It's walking distance down on the left side just past the LK Royal Suite. From memory there is a Family Mart or 7/11 on the corner. If you get to ReCon you've gone too far.

D Apartments was my favourite until they started building the huge new hotel in the car park. Stopped staying there to avoid the construction noise, haven't been back since.

Pretty good location at the quiet end of soi Buakhow. Big, good value roooms. Really friendly staff. No restauarant or food so you'll be eating out all the time.

Next trip Aug 31-Sep13, theme: try more freelancers, get dirty! Note to self: TAKE MORE PHOTOS!!!

  • 3 weeks later...

I stayed there during the construction earlier this year. I had a room at the back 606 (I think), in the new building. They have an old, a new, and were building another, when I was there. It was a very spacious room with a balcony and a good view......including the construction site. I would imaging any kind of view has now disappeared due to the new building.

The noise did get a bit much at times, I must admit.

Highlight of the day was watching the crane driver swinging from his cab to the ladder in his flip flops at over 100ft up in the air each evening he finished work. Health & Safety bods would've had a field day.

The rooftop pool was OK, if a little small. But it was very difficult to get a lounger. There are maybe only 6 or 8 of them and many of the guests would 'reserve' their bed with a towel and go out shopping / eating or whatever they did. A few people got really pissed off and removed the towels which then caused problems when the owners finally returned. I think the staff were made aware, and were trying to stop this happening. Whether it is still a problem, I don't know.

Staff, from the front desk to the cleaners were excellent.

They also have a sister apartment called D Express. It is located further down the same soi, about another 5-7 mins walk. I didn't stay there but had a look around. Rooms much the same but the pool looked far better.

Hope this helps.

Yeah, the *06 rooms were the best rooms. I stayed in 206 and 406 before but I imagine they have been ruined by the new hotel right outside your balcony.

I might go back to D Apartments next trip but splash out on a deluxe room at the front :)

PS Are you from Norwich, Norwich? I am!

Prices For a studio or 1 bedroom?

they don't have 1 bedroom, deluxe is the biggest at 1500b

I work hard to support those on benefits! :Banghead2:
