How to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on TV in Thailand

Hey guys,

Anyone know how I can easily watch Netflix or Amazon Prime on the Television in Thailaind?  I have a VPN on my computer and Ipad but I don't know how to get it on the big screen.  I know there is a way to put a VPN on the router but it is locked down by True.

Ideally I would like to have the Amazon TV box or Chromecast...

Any suggestions?

Netflix was blocked for me in Thailand. I loaded up a vpn on my iPad but it was very slow but if you get it working smoothly then there is no reason you can't cast Netflix on your iPad to a chromecast.

I have used a vpn on my android based TV box in the UK and it worked fine

I couldn't get Amazon Prime either. Really annoying. I don't remember them telling me when I signed up for it by default, or was it  by mistake, that I couldn't get it in other countries. Anyway, it was going to be part of my back up plan. You know those times when you're in Pattaya and you've kind of 'had enough' and need a break? A respite, a half-time rest, a pit stop, a bit of total R & R - we'll I do - occasionally I just want to be totally on my own for 2 - 3 hours, or an afternoon and then I'm ready again to meet the fray.

Agree, sometimes just need to lay back and watch some western TV.  True Visions sucks most of the time so I really wanted to get some good streaming service......

I run two different wifi points. One is "regular" and one is a VPN. The router is flashed with "Tomato" firmware, and a VPN is installed. I can log in to that network and change the location of the VPN connection at will. VyprVPN makes a great interface for the Tomato firmware.

If it floats, flies or fucks, RENT IT!!!!! "He who hesitates, masturbates"

Plus 1. I use hide my ass.com VPN with tomato. ...not fast but works for Netflix and amazon prime. Was a pain in the ass for the tech to walk my through how to do it but g2g now
