Heard good reports about this hotel, rooms about 650 bt per night, arriving 8th Oct. swimming pool, restaurant.

Should I book beforehand, as it is off season. any advice please?

There are a number of different sections to this hotel and they are numbered Sutus 1, 2 3 etc some are a lot better than others. I saw into some of the ground floor rooms of one of the hotels and I would not like to have stayed in them. The one that fronts onto Soi Buakhoa is the best one and the most expensive. So maybe as it is off-season you might just book the first night and check it out when you get there!

Sutus Court 1 are the best rooms in the new wing and building. Sutus Court 2 slightly less new. Then 3 and 4 followed by Sutus Court 5 are the Budget rooms much less cheaper but very small.

They do get busy but i'm sure if you just turn up they will have a room for you.

Why?

Living sober, clean and staying away from loose women doesn't make a man live any longer. It just fucking feels like it.

Has satus 1 got room safe if it doesn't it a deal destroyer for me.

Why?

Terrible customer service to start with which included a much higher price than the one I was promised when I made the reservation. And also the fact that they wanted me to pay the whole stay already at check in.After having travelled all corners of the world THAT was a first time I`ve been asked that,a deposit is usually enough.

IMO they sucks, even I know plenty of people that are regulars and happy with them.

I understand how you feel and justified in expressing your feeling. Over decades of travel to LOS I can state with certainity that the PR in hospitality industry is below average as the lower level staff are untrained with elementary education and lack basic manners. But over a period of time I have accepted it as a standard norm. But having said that the fun and frolic we have relegates these minor issues to oblivion.

I stayed here. The room was fine for the price and a OK pool, but will not stay again.

The women checking me in was the rudest person ever and took over a half hour. She took my passport and then seemed to lose it, but found it under her mess. If I had not already paid on Agoda, I would have walked out.

I agree and in 99% of cases where the hotel misunderstands because of lack of language and training I don`t mind at all and I don`t make a case of it.In this case their english was good, but their attitude sucked big time.

Thanks everyone, I stayed there for four nights, was very satisfied with the service and the room was excellent only one thing killed it for me. When I left the room to go out, the refrigerator went off along with the lights and air con, when I returned and wanted a cold drink (not alcoholic), the drinks were not cold.

I went to complain, and told them if the refrigerator would not stay on the whole time, I wanted my money back as I was going to leave and find a hotel where the fridge did not go out along with the lights and AC.

They sent someone to adjust something that prevented the fridge from going off.

This was a great pity as I wanted to start using this hotel every time I came to Pattaya, but I do a lot of walking around, and I do need my cold drinks.

Why?

Maybe he likes his cold drinks.

Cold drinks are colder than warm drinks!

Stayed 6 nights 22 months ago

Room was ok for the cheap price but the reception staff were

probably the worst I have ever experienced.

I have stayed 6 times in 2 years, a month a time.

It suits me as it is cheap, very clean, the rooms are a big size for the money, the position is excellent with Sutus 3 being set back from the road so quiet and the pool and jacuzzi are good.

Having said that, it is not a swish modern hotel run by a large company, there are no room safes, half the towels have been repaired several times and the furniture is basic.

One major asset, in my opinion, is that you can take a partner straight in, no ID check.

Having looked around other hotels, if you are in Pattaya for long term mongering, I think it is difficult to match anywhere near the price.   After checking in I don't see reception staff until I check out unless there is a problem and any problems I have had were dealt with very quickly.

Just worn out furniture and room. Pool surrounded by flis and mosquitoes.

Rest all fine at Sutus I, I stayed 6 days 18 months back.

Stayed there 18 days recently..Sutus court 1. Big room with balcony for about 950baht.

I enjoyed my stay . Only thing i don't like is lack of in-room safe but i have never had anything taken.

I like to stay in soi buakhao area and have not found anyplace which is better for that price range.

I agree about the lack of room safe, that's a major disadvantage for me. However, I've stayed there several times, and have a future booking there as well. The won't find a hotel, with a pool, right in the heart of the action for that price. If you want better standards you have to double your price. But you won't get more for that price in Pattaya. For the price, it can't be beaten.

I dropped by in early November to take a look. The exterior looks run down. The rooms looked run down too. I even checked Sutus 1. It was slightly better, but not worth the 1300 baht. Without room safe. I decided to pass and extend my stay at Chaba Hut. Similar area and much nicer.
