Flipper house on Soi 7 any good?

Just want to know if this place is any good and if anyone has an experiences staying there?

I've stayed in both Flipper House and Lodge just over a year ago. They were okay for the price but feeling a little tattered around the edges. When I was there the staff were actually pretty friendly but I have heard some concerning stories lately that the staff have been a little surly.

 

I personally think there are better options around town like August Suites or the White house Condotel.

Stayed in filpper house soi 7 but was back in 2011 i think, no problems bringing guests back,and enjoyed the hotel,nice pool on roof and staff quite friendly,but as i say 4 years ago now,but would stay again.

Stayed at Flipper House in March, 3rd stay there. Location is very good and staff were all great for me.

Not the best hotel in Patts but far from the worst, if you're not expecting a five star hotel then I would definitely recommend it.

Have stayed at Flipper Lodge, some rooms are remodeled and have in room safes, I would make sure to get the remodeled room! Guests ok, internet ok but extra...

 

Location is great!

Flipper House had the grottiest room I've stayed at in Patts out of about 15 places.Dont know if I got unlucky.August Suites is much better and not far from there.

Hi stayed several times but always in the new wing never had a problem room modern and clean

 

Good pool, late breakfast plenty of variety, girl friendly, top location on baht bus routes.

Cannot reccomend flipped house enough. Stayed many times over the years and always respectful and polite. Might be a little dated but excellent value. Inroom safe would be nice but never had a problem with the key box at front desk. Very guest friendly and massage place for room call downstairs is pretty good. Breakfast is ok but not spectacular. Pig a whistle down the street tops for me. Visit Aussie bar across the street for some no hassle starters for the day or a attentive if not the youngest BF. Next door bar with the pool tables has a cunt for an owner just to warn you. Real dickhead. But a good place to take a at for some AC and a drink or game of pool before retiring to the room. Decent massage with extras all over the soi. Let me know how the Aussie bar is if you happen by.

Been a while since I used the service. I do know I would not pay over 1,000bht all in. Nice shop across street to the right as well for a morning jangle after breakfast too.

 

Aussie bar across street also has had good girls. Did it during day for hangout and more than once the girls there got me home safely tucked in after a night on WS ended with me being alone and too drunk to figure out not to stop for "one" more. Very fun hangout and never had any issues there.

Last time I stayed there (January 2015) they charge extra for the internet. Not big deal, just 100-200 bath for a couple of days, but it´s smells old school. 

Also big minus for no safety in the room.

I know it's getting a bit old but the location is perfect for baht bus both north and south.

I stayed at the flipper lodge couple of years ago. I stayed in the older room with no in room safe so had to use the safety deposit box at reception. Still quite comfortable. I found reception to be a tad rude and the breakfast was nothing to shout about but other than that it was adequate for my short stay. Another option nearby is the Sunshine Residence. Hope this helps
