Amari Nova Suites

It is a great hotel but a little off the main route, they do have a buggy that will take you and pick you up as if you decide to walk you have to look out for Soi dogs late at night. It is 5 minutes pass Jameson;s which is on the Soi almost opposite Soi 6.1 on second road, there are a couple of family Marts and a motorcycle taxi rank just down from the hotel. If you do not mind being a little out of the way it is a great place but the Ice bar there is a little over rated, the one bedroom suites are probably the best value in Pattaya.

Stayed at Amari Nova Suites on a couple of occasions. Have nothing to say but good things about the place.

It is a fantastic 4/5 star aparthotel. The rooms are modern and of the highest quality. The staff are very helpful and the joint is guest-friendly. Nice roof-top pool area. I really like the location, a little away from the action but not too far (m/b taxi outside hotel + free shuttle bus to Second rd and Pattaya Klang/soi Buhakow).

Stayed there may times and really like it.

Short walk to Soi 6 and if you have a motorbike it's no problem anyway

The only thing I don't like is the wooden surround around the bed which gets in the way.

I'll be there again in November

Stayed here in 2014 - awesome place not too far from everything - they have their own "shuttle", motorbike taxis are everywhere and i'm not the fittest person in the world but walking was still a viable option. One thing that definitely has to be noted is that the rooms are absolutely HUGE. I stayed at three different hotels in Pattaya last year all around the same price and the Amari Nova Suites was definitely the largest of the lot and the most modern.

I was in a one-bedroom corner suite on the top floor - it had a full sized kitchen, washer/clothes dryer combo, lounge with flatscreen TV. The bedroom is spacious and has a large king bed, two lounge seats with its own large flatscreen TV. His and hers closets with a safety deposit box in one, a desk for setting up a laptop. The bathroom has a walk in shower (space for maybe 4 or 5 people lol) with a normal detachable shower head on the wall and a different rainfall spray coming from the ceiling. Air con worked like a charm (one unit in the lounge and one in the bedroom), ample space in the full sized fridge to stock up on wine, beer, food etc and there is a balcony off the lounge should you want to have a cigarette or sit out at night with a brew.

It's girl friendly - paid no joiner fees, the girls had to leave their id at reception on the way up and I always received a call from reception before the girl was able to have her ID back. Staff were great and very helpful.

One of the places we frequented was the rooftop pool - big lounge chairs with sun umbrellas, the main pool and a smaller spa pool at the top end - you can get food and drinks delivered to you at the rooftop (there is a phone just next to the pool to call the restaurant and bar). I probably spent too much on room service this trip but their food was just too good not to eat! It was good to wake up, stroll on up to the pool and take a dip to wash away the hangover from last night haha. If girls were staying longtime we'd get them to bring their bikinis so they could come for a swim the next day.

If you hire a scooter/motorbike there is free parking at the rear of the building so no problems there.

There are two family marts close by (similar to a 7/11 or other corner store) so you don't need to wander too far to get supplies.

I would recommend taking some of the business cards from the front desk before you go out partying - the first two nights we told the motorbike taxi drivers to take us to the Amari Nova but we ended up at the Amari Ocean lol.

All in all, a great place to stay, biggest rooms you can get for the price (that I have so far found) close enough to everything that you feel in the midst of the party while far enough away to not be woken by loud music and tooting car horns

Thank You very much.

I finally can Officially state I have my plane ticket for my first trip to the LOS. Will be coming in March for a little over 2 weeks. March must be a busy time because I had

decided on Areca because my friend said I would be comfortable there but it is booked. I think I will book a week at the Amari and then decide where to stay at for the

remainder of my stay.

I stayed two nights in September. Nice room. Nice restaurant. A long walk to 2nd Road. (10 minutes?) But it had the worst wifi I've experienced in Thailand! Like almost non-existant. Also, there was a really bad smell. If I didn't need wifi I might give it another chance.

I have contemplated this hotel but have read numerous reports on bad wifi like the one above. This is a deal breaker for me.

Everything else looks great including proximity to Soi 6.

Nova gold hotel is nearby but no sunlight on pool area and a bit small and pokey for me.

Stayed there earlier this year in a 1 bed corner suite, massive room, as others have said.

There is only 2 downsides to it mentioned above, location & wifi, almost every night it was a challenge getting home as no-one knows where it is, gets frustrating after a while.

Now a hidden gem for you, there is a girl in there who does the food & drink by the name of Beer, proper name is Kittiya, used to work in Dream Teen Maasage, possibly one of the best bodies I have ever seen, although I think she's settled down & out of the P4P scene

Nova Gold is the best value 3/4 star hotel in Patts IMHO....BUT, I agree with you, the pool is 100% in the shade a deal-breaker for me.

I to fully endorse this review. After 4 incredible stays at this property the only issue I have had was with the power in my room one night. The staff was unable to repair it at 4am but quickly gathered up my belongings and moved me to another room. Top shelf all the way.

Bumping an old thread, sorry guys, but I've got a booking for this place early next year and I'm wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and noticed any improvement in their wifi?

I'm hoping there's been enough guest complaints over the last year that they've acted on it and rectified this apparent only flaw.

Cheers.

I am here now and loving it. Stayed here a week before going to Cambodia and now 2 weeks again.

In a 1 bedroom suite and the apartment size is about 80sqm.

The wifi is better than it was.

Being out of the way a little, gets me doing a decent walk everyday.

Took a Soi 6 girl LT last night and just walked off the Soi.

I recommend staying in the main building as you go straight upto the pool in the lift.

Thanks for that, have a 1 bedroom suite booked, good to hear the wifi has improved.

Walked past it last week to check the location, I'm fine with it.

Thanks for the tip.

I last stayed there in March and as everyone else said and it was topnotch. WiFi was a bit up and down but since I normally get a 150B 10 day 4gig 4G package from AIS, it's not a deal breaker for me. The only downside is the location as I tend to spend a lot of time in LK Metro and WS and I normally don't like to ride a bike, especially if I'm shitfaced which is almost everynight.

Last time I was there (early this month) I stayed at The Stay on Soi 10 which ticks all the boxes for me and the location can't be beat. You might want to take a look if it interests you...

Thanks for the recommendation but I've got the Amari 1 bedroom suite for 2,200 baht per night which is too good a deal to let go early in the year.

You don't have to tell me, I booked it a couple months ago and now can't find anything close to it. I was looking at changing my dates by a week and the cost went up 50%.

Thankfully my LLT who will be with me the whole trip has her own scooter so I'm set for easy transport out of the Soi :)

Hey guys,

Has anyone had any experience having 2 girls back to the room at Amari Suites? Do they charge extra for a second girl?

I know a couple freelancers who are friends and was thinking of suggesting having them both over at the same time :)

Will let you know the deal in a couple of days when I bring the biological sisters back. Pics to follow ;-)).

Wifi was a bit ordinary but the IT guy put a router in my room so now have a strong signal.

Thanks guys for your replies, seems standard operating procedure is in place, not too worried about an extra 500 baht if that's the case.

Also good to know there's an IT guy I can ask for if wifi is an issue.
