All my teeth are terrible.  I'm planning on spending up to $15,000 for new teeth.  This will be done in May 2016 as my target.  I am 31 years of age and 130lbs (due to eating problems with the teeth)

How long do I need to stay in Thailand for this procedure?
Where would be recommended?
Do they knock you out first?

my mate just had his done in cambodia , took six weeks to complete , he was in a lot of discomfort but he has a smile like a movie star now . was a lot cheaper than thailand , modern equipment and an american educated dentist .

I don't think you are going to get all your teeth replaced with implants for anything close to $15,000.

If you really need all of them out research "all on 4" which will be closer to your money but still probably more.

All on four looks good. I've read same day ... is that an option?

In some cases I believe it is but I've no idea how long it would take them to make the dentures after the initial consultation and impression taking.

Ok great, thanks. Wish I could go sooner but my company's active time is October through April and I have to run it. I think I'll have around $25,000 by the end of April for a trip out so I'm assuming its good enough for travel within Thailand, Hotel, and Food, plane ticket not included in price because its separate in company funds.

There's a thread about implants just a couple of lines below this one.

My European dentist strongly advised me to never have the "same day" implants. Mine took a total of about 4 months each, though some can run concurrently. As far as I know the time-consuming part is waiting for the bone to grow around the implant and fix it before the abutment and crown are put in place.

I would say take the trouble to find a specialist and dont try and cut corners.

It all depends on how much bone you have. I am going through the process now. Had lower teeth pulled, then implants screwed in. Luckily I had enough bone, but they had to heal for six plus months, then abutments , then crowns. Been a year now, and all good. The uppers are more complicated. Had bone loss in molar area, so have been waiting about 8 months for those to heal, find out next week. Then it would be same process as lowers. I'm having mine done in Mexico, and am very happy with dentist. If you want more info, PM me
