Bayview Pattaya no longer Girl Friendly?

I'm planning my next visit (end Dec 15) and was thinking of staying somerewhere a bit nicer.

 

The Bayview (aka Siam Bayview) looks like a good candidate and appears on most of the girl frendly lists out on the interweb.

 

I have seen one or two recent mentions that their policy on joiners may have changed and they're charging a THB1200 joiner fee.

 

If anyone has stayed there recently and has experienced the new policiy, or otherwise, I'd love to know.

 

Other recommendations for girl freiendly in the same quality/price/location range would also be great. I wanna lock in my trip real soon before the choices get too limited.

The Bayview has a couple of new hotels going up next door and it looks like it is getting a lot of noise. I would avoid it for that reason alone.

Thanks, I'd seen that particular thread, but there were some posts on another site that suggested that they'd recently started demanding THB1200 for the first gal.

Hmmm... construction would definitely put a damper on things. I guess that I'll steer clear.

Stayed at the Bay view in November 2014, took a double bed room, had no issues in getting a girl up to the room, they just need to give their Id at the front desk.

Thanks guys, I've decided to go with the LK metropole.

 

I'm looking forward to maybe meeting a few fellow BMs while I'm there.
