Could you do a few photos to visually explain a cavity wall?

Here are a couple of pics , its a wall double skin with a cavity keeps it cool, it also means you can have a window sill not just a flush window with the wall ,as shown below .

From what i've seen Alan builds quality houses, my mates got one of his house builds in Korat. He ain't cheap by Thai standards but you won't end up with expensive maintenance years before you should do. I've never managed to buy anything that was quality and cheap, the two just don't go together imo.

 

Just speaking as i find guys.

Not wishing to hijack this thread but take a look at my newly completed house down in the south of Thailand..............2 beds/2 baths 120 sq.mtres Q Con block walls and CPac monier roof,quality build by an experienced thai builder, paid him 380,000 baht for build only completed house total cost 1.3 million.

Few pics to show were we are up to .

UPVC guys head up from Phuket around the 8th , wood work will start around the same time .

Im considering changing the Aluminium in my house to UPVC , (our high grade Aluminum is very good but if you can afford this is better) OK it cost about 3 times more but it is very good .
