Stayed there a few months back. Went back to the hotel after a night out and the front desk didn't even check my "prize of the night". Just walked straight to the elevator and to my room.

I finally pulled the trigger, Serenotel (Beach and 10), superior with balcony, it was more expensive than Bella or August but I needed closer to Hilton (my buddies will be staying there). Wanted to take Flipper Lodge, but............. it appeared that no balconies

anybody stayed at grand bella?

booked the hotel without reading too much of the reviews .. i know rookie mistake.

saw the part abt indians being a nuisance and creating a din everynight. just want to ask if this is really as serious as ppl are making it out to be?

also if thats the case is there like an option the front desk can allocate guests to a partition of the hotel where there's only caucasians and asians ?

Been to bella express many times. Grand Bella is girl friendly for the first girl but should make you pay 1000 bahts for the 2nd.

I'm staying there now, hope I don't get band for this but the Indians ruin the hotel. If you are unlucky enough to get a room by them then it can only be described as feeding time at the zoo 24/7

I spoke to 4 other white patrons and everyone has problems with them and has complained. They seem to be in groups of 8 and are constantly in and out of each others rooms, banging on doors, slamming doors, moving furniture, shouting constantly. The behaviour by the pool is no better. I was scarred to let my wife go back to the room on her own as they constantly stare at her. After 2 days I asked to change rooms. Reception were great and moved me from building 3 to 2. It was great for 7 days, then the Russians left and I got Indians next door and the constant noise stated again. I came back one afternoon as the cleaners were in my room, they started complaining to me about them and said they had already made a complaint about them on my behalf.

It's not too bad at the moment as a lot have checked out

On the separation issue. The cleaners told us that were possible the Indians are put in building 3 and they do try to segregate but in High season it's not possible. Also because the female cleaners are scared of them that in building 3 there are 2 male cleaners to 1 female cleaner

I should add that the rooms are good, wifi is great, the pool is good if not getting bombed by indians and there is a second quieter pool on the roof of building 1.

I would stay here again if I could be guaranteed that no Indians would be on the same floor, which I think they would try to do in low season but struggle to do in high season.

Mods. This is not a racist post just purely based on my experience on their behaviour over the last 4 weeks

In November I was in Bangkok at the Ibis hotel, same problem with the Indians, they make a lot of noise, don't know how to behave as a hotel guest. But they are the first to complain in the Agoda hotel reviews. Terrible people.
