I would just use Skyscanner to check flight prices & schedules, but remember to book direct with the airline.

Probably middle eastern carriers except for Emirates since they dont fly to Berlin.  Etihad become Air Berlin's biggest sponsor...  so probably your best option, or go with biggest European carriers such as British Airways, KLM/Air France, or Lufthansa.

KLM

Lufthansa

Turkish

If you want to break the journey more then, I guess, Etihad or Jordanian.

If you want to see a bit more of Germany fly direct to Frankfurt and use the train to Berlin.

Be aware that at least Etihad can use Air Berlin for the leg from Berlin to Abu Dhabi and the other way around. Not even near the same quality. This was confirmed in another board and the punter was unhappy. Of course you can see that in advance if you check your tickets carefully.

Are you going one way or return? If you are booking now it seems that German-wings is the best option (730 usd, return ticket, 15/16 hours travel time).
