LK Empress. Advice needed

Hey brothers,

Need some advice.  After doing some further research on LK Empress I have now learned that they will not allow guests under 20.  I have already made a booking but I can still cancel this.  What I want to know is can the staff at Empress be bribed or is it better just to book a hotel that welcomes all.

Stayed there 2 times but not sure about bribing staff lol.  Very nice hotel with good rooms and great bathrooms though. If you got a beach front room they have their own lift towards the front of the building, which means you don't even have to walk past reception area and im sure get a girl to your room without them noticing. Only problem is beachfront rooms quite expensive.

Never heard of that weird policy (allegedly).

AFAIK, LK Empress is girl friendly. I will email the hotel and check the policy with them.

You can get a good deal with LK Empress and many other Pattaya hotels on my website:

I stayed there and they have a Family Mart built in to the hotel, presume it is still there. You can take someone through there and bypass reception.

Thanks for the replies.  I have now changed my booking to Baywalk Residences as I can save 3000 baht and the location is closer to the action at Walking Street.

I couldn't take the chance of finding a stunning 18-19 year old and not be able to take her back to my room.

Hehe the 3000 baht saved is an extra LT!!

I stayed there in May \ June this year and took a girl I have known for years back and so did not even stop at the reception \ security to hand in her ID so taking a girl up to your room should be no problem.

The down side of that for you is that you better hope to what ever f**king god you believe in that she is at least 18 and does not cause you any problems as you will have no come backs if the hotel does not have her ID.

Thanks for the advice.  I usually check their ID before leaving the bar.

Yes this is how its done when you not want the reception card hand in etc.

I was there one time & was in my room when a girl i know called me up & told her to come round for some in room fun, the reception called me to say Miss XYZ had her ID card & was not welcome in the hotel as she was 19 & not 20.

This is also in line with the law where girls who work in venues with Alcohol are meant to be 20 years of age.

On a safe note I would rather have a tight reception & security to be honest.

The LK Empress is one of the best hotels I have stayed at in Pattaya.

yes, but there is no law saying visitors in hotels must be 20 years old - I wonder why this hotel is being over-zealous.

Let's see how they reply to my email.

Because it is a nice hotel and most of the visitors are not in Pattaya for P4P despite it location, all the LK hotels are girl friendly and I have stayed at most but the Empress is the least so.

even so the 20 years rule still doesn't make sense

I am not here to judge but try to imagine you are in the hotel with your young family and a 50 to 60 year old guy comes down to breakfast with a school girl who is clearly not his daughter (18 is still school age) Some if not most hotels in Pattaya no one would bat an eye lid but this is not one of them.

The girl I was staying with is in her late twenty's and I still got some disapproving looks.

The difference between 18 and 20 is subjective but it is their hotel and their rules. there are plenty of hotels that will let an 18 y\o in,

Yes - it is not only subjective, but it is often also invisible !

It's in that sense I say the rule doesn't make sense.

I won't argue that it's their hotel and they can do what they want, but I reserve my right to say that what they do doesn't make sense.

And about my young children - incidentially I have a 12 year old boy and a 10 year old daughter - I would simply explain to them that the girl is a prostitute and that the old guy gave her money to go to his room to have sex.

I see no reason to hide that from children.

With my experience of staying at the LK Empress there was tons of mongers & many of them Arab guys doing it with style.

Must also add many mongers there are desecrate & do not sit with there girl over breakfast but many do.

Also many residents do indeed run over beach road grab a girl & go back for the night.

Any way we all see things different but I do pay attention. LOL.  :Wassup1:  :NiceThread1:

Beautiful young ladies with 50 plus year old men ????  Loads of this in the LK Empress.

Not sure if you have much experience of this hotel but believe me mongers galore in this very nice hotel.

Family or persons who give us bad looks or are in shock clearly have not adjusted to the main landscape of Pattaya.

The key is to ignore & not give a fuck if you get the odd bad look from the family type persons.

Pattaya has changed & is changing by the year but its still the Capital of fucking & whores.

My opinion,

I object as the old guy may not have given her money for sex.

You are surmising & future more he might have got it for free.

Free sex in Pattaya is this a thread or am I joking.

I have stayed here a number of times.  That 50 year old guy with the 25 year old girl is me.  I am not the only one, I would say that half the tables have bargirls eating breakfast.

I have noticed that they have a membership card where one can earn points - Can someone elaborate on this and just what are the pros and cons - A standard room with the monthly promotion is $57.750 BHT for 33 days without breakfast. The same room with a member rate earning 4125 points with breakfast is $82,500 BHT. Which one would be the best bargain for the membership may have benefits in the long run. You impure and feedback sure would be appreciated - Thanks

yes, I'm impure :-) 555

PM me your exact dates of stay and I will check my rates for you.

Are 33 breakfasts and 4125 of their points really worth 25000 baht?

My experience with these "points" systems is that often sticking to the promotions will be cheaper in the long run.

Another concern is if that points programme is guaranteed to run long time? as this is Thailand, one can expect it to be cancelled without warning or maybe a lot of "solly cannot sir" when you want to use points to book at specific dates such as New Year's eve.

EDIT:

actually, the answer is right on their webpage:

Earn points worth 5% of each booking 1 Point = 1 THB

manarak - Thanks for your straight forward response as this is exactly what I was looking for, seen what was on the website yet asked for a lot of times there may be hidden requirements or it may not seem to be what is really posted

All this hotels belonging to the LK Group are girl friendly have stayed atlest in three of them, and never had any issues, the best is the LKEmpress bang opp to the beach

Stayed several times and no issues with bringing your girls for breakfast. You can bypass reception by going through the Family Mart and using the back lift to get to your room.

I have stayed in the front building and they have a separate lift.

Great hotel and highly recommend it.
