Hi Guys,

I have been searching for reviews of Bay Breeze hotel (think it's in Soi Diana?) but can't seem to find any here on PA.

Anyone stayed there and knows if its any good?

Thinking about staying there for my two week trip in December.

Have you tried the search bar at the top of this forum page. Or the Agoda,Trip Advisor, etc. websites

Haven't stayed there myself. But I believe it's on Soi Honey

It is indeed on soi honey about 100 yards from second road. There's a lot of building work going on out the back.

Its a nice hotel with a pool not worthy of the name however its not to dated the deluxe rooms are fine TV DVD.

Good location and clean

Balcony rooms on high floors are the go. As long as they're finished their interminable renovations. Massive breakfast with plenty of options and the Soi (Honey, not Diana). Great location but there is the construction on the south side.

Good hotel in a good location, and the pool will certainly wake you up when you jump in first thing.

If you jump in you'll empty the fucker its 10 foot by 5 on floor 3 and gets no sun!

Booked a balcony room at high floors for a two week trip in December.

Hope it will be allright and I will try to remember to write a review when I return.

Thanks for your comments.

Good choice.I just came back from a stay in one of the deluxe balcony rooms on the eighth floor.Newly renovated to a high standard, very nice indeed.Couldn't hear any construction noise from the room.

Have stayed twice, nice mid range......excellent staff, wifi......perfect location, pool is not for swimming, more of a large relaxing tub to cool down

Downside was moulds in bath, certainly on old rooms, new ones are far superior

I stayed there a month in Jan / Feb and yes great rooms, good food at the restaurant and friendly staff. I actually prefer the non balcony deluxe room cause its bigger than the balcony room.

reviews~

considering there are alot of people earning money from writing positive reviews on places they have never stayed, I would never trust a review written on hotel sites, trip advisor, etc etc.

I use Tripadvisor alot when i travel. And i always write a review there also. Both for hotel and restaurants. I do not read the good revews, but the bad ones, to see what people are complaining about. And if that is something that would bother me?

I've just stopped in the baybreeze and found it very good. I was a walk in and they only had standard rooms left so took one at 900 a night. A bit rough round the edges in the room but clean and quiet even though I was situated on the back facing the construction site. Must say the bed was the most comfortable that I've slept in so far in Thailand. The food in the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is good value.

I stayed there in March 2015, had a room on the same floor as the pool..3rd I think. The room was just ok  I checked out after a couple of days and moved around the corner on 2nd. road. I found Maytera to be a much newer and nicer hotel. and would stay there again

I stayed there for 10 nights in June 2016 and there is still work going on but it did not intrude on a good stay at the bay breeze. In fact I have booked this hotel again for 3 weeks in November.

I think they are doing it floor wise. On the guest list I saw rooms from floors 5&6 missing.

BB been my regular hotels for my last 3 trips. Good location, good staff, massage service on the room and for 900 bath you have everything you need.

Only neg is the pool under the roof, but I dont swim so much anyway. The breakfast is quite boring, but they always serve me a cold beer so I cant complain.

Cause the sweetest kiss I ever got is the one I´ve never tasted
