Definitely not my preferred location but if you like being in central Pattaya I suppose its fine.  All depends on what you plan to do.....

Yes mate 24 7 is a first class budget+ hotel. Soi honey is handy for most places in Patts - particularly if you like being around LK Metro area. Comfy beds, quiet and modern rooms, nice bathrooms, rooftop pool and gym. Great breakfasts inc in the price - omelettes made to order. Difficult to beat at current prices.

This is a 3.5 star hotel which offers great amenities, service and location at an affordable price. Currently 1,146 THB pn or $46 AUD or  21 GBP (inc breakfast for 2). Overpriced....you must be joking!

I haven't stayed at Areca, but I have stayed at hotels like LK Ren, LK Empress, Centara Pattaya, Amari Suites. No 24 7 is not up to 4 star standard - no big swimming pool or grand entrance, then again, its about half the price.
