Perharps perhaps perhaps....I dont know what you're expecting asking what you should do here....Over 7 days since you posted, so I presume you have seen a doctor? What did he say?

Grrr, so i got my bloods back near end of August, was told to come back by the doctor in October because they showed my thyroxine levels were too high and a "bit worrying", I told him I am on holiday from mid September to October he seemed fine with that, he said no worries even tho he cancelled my heart meds due to nasty side effects, just don't get stressed....Then yesterday just 5 days before I am due to leave i get a phone call from the receptionist at the doctors saying " The doctor wants you to come in as soon as possible and be retested!" are you bloody kidding me!! apart from the bruises i get after every blood test that last forever, (that will look great when wearing a T shirt) i will probably nullify my insurance whatever the result and now I have to go on holiday with this hanging over my bloody head.

So do i go in first thing Monday morning, (already got the bloods form) hope they can find the vein this time, so I don't have 2 bruised arms, then worry about the results, if they phone back next day that means holiday cancelled as it means the Graves is back and as i leave Wednesday not hearing is not necessarily all clear.

Told her that I was supposed to come back in October and could i speak to the doc, "He's gone home and not back till Tuesday."

I'm going still, Fuckit!, but damn I could have done without this shit!

Insider- health before holiday mate ! Have you already told your insurance company about the Graves & heart condition?  Are you on the heart meds to control the Graves or not related? Id be more worried he took you off the heart meds...

The graves is something that i had which was treated then was gone but i get regular bloods every three months to keep an eye on it because it is known to recur, the heart the Insurance know about, the doc took me of the heart tablets in August because i was getting serious bronchial side effects, (trouble breathing - 8 weeks - and constant coughing, i don't smoke) a week later I was breathing fine he told me to avoid stress (try lose weight, etc) and come back in October, the same with the thyroid, gave me a bloods form said bring it back second week of October, or sooner if i get the usual symptoms.

I was only at the docs 10 days ago for a blood pressure check, he was aware it was high but again told me I was good to go and the holiday would do me good and just to come back in October, never even mentioned the thyroid results this time.

The graves does affect the blood pressure but he is aware of that, nothing has changed in the meanwhile.

I guess as long as your insurance company knows then you're good to go...Just stay away from the Viagra !

Actually the viagra lowers blood pressure, so may be worth trying, ha
