Cheap Qatar Business Class Europe to Bangkok £1000

If you like a little comfort at a bargain price and don't mind an extended route, this is a great deal.  If you want to save cash and want the cheapest possible economy seat with or without changes, move on to another thread.

 

Worth noting, in addition to the A380 to BKK, that Qatar has some stunningly cheap business fares to BKK.  £1000 or €1450 will get you there in comfort.

 

These start from Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm.  Some of these have the stunning 787 business cabin on the legs to Doha.

 

If flying from the UK there is no need to be put off - cheap connecting fights on Easyjet or another low cost airline will get you there to connect.  You could even have a break at either end of your trip.  Make sure you leave enough time and/or have insurance that will cover you if your connection fails due to delays or cancellation.

 

In addition to being cheap, you will be very close to getting Silver Status on BA - giving you lounge access on future trips. I booked during an earlier sale from just £970 from Copenhagen, travelling at the end of November.  Adding in BA Flights from Manchester via London cost another £120.  This will virtually guarantee me BA Silver Status for another year - important for me when I travel in the USA on American Airlines and hard to get just flying economy.

Have to agree paid £915 Amsterdam to Bangkok early October with Qatar, will be my first flight on a 380 and a 787, looking forward to trying them.  Price is what sold it for me even with a hotel in Amsterdam and flights from Leeds/Bradford it was cheaper then anything else i could find.

 

Flights from Amsterdam to Bangkok seem cheaper on the whole, booked with EVA in March for £1549, cheaper then Heathrow was looking at over £2000 and trip from Leeds to Amsterdam is quicker and not much more expensive then Leeds to Heathrow

Their economy flights are rock bottom too. Finding £402 from Edinburgh to BKK in October. Haven't flown with them before but will certainly consider them on the next trip.
