Anyone stayed here, prices seem reasonable, close to the action and 2 pools, anyone know wether it has a joiner fee..

Use the search function mate. You will find tonnes of info. Phuket is nice, I generally spend most of my trips there.

Amata was - last time I stayed there - girl friendly, with a few caveats:

 

One girl only - joiner fee for more than one.

ST then different girl LT may get you hit up for a joiner fee. I came and went a few times during the day with the same girl, and they tried it on.

 

Having said that, the staff is friendly enough, and the rooms are comfortable, if a bit dated / worn.

 

It's a medium walk from Soi Bangla, though - I don't mind, but the girl might complain.

 

Christin's massage (a soapy) is right across the road, if that's something you're interested in.
