that can stop   or  remove the scam

that purports to come from Microsoft

saying suspicious activity ring this number blah blah.

I got one last night but managed to remove it with reg seeker.

Tonight I got it again different wording and phone number

but I had to do a restore to get rid of it.

It's just a waste of time.

Download the free version of Malwarebytes Anti-malware. I bought it and have used it for years.

you are clicking on shit that is putting malware in your computer...

stop doing that and you won't have the problem...

would be good to find the fuckers that create that shit and make it so they cannot work keyboards anymore as well, I think...

Sounds like ransomware not malware which is a lot harder to get rid of.

Plenty of well known sites offering solutions like Nortons, Avast, F-Secure.

Let me guess you are not using a third party internet security package. :Think1:

Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.

Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.

Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.

Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.

  • 3 months later...

It's been awhile since I was here, so here is an update,

I've had no choice but to start using win10.

got Avast, the day after d/l it I was on a film site

and I got a redirect  that brought up an ad for smarter password

AND WOULDN'T BUDGE.

 so I D/L WIN 10.

I love old films.

so I guess I'm going to spend more time on here,

at least it's a useful site.

jeff.
