Coming to Pattaya in the end of august. Would like to play 18 holes at least 3 times. I am 32 handicap, just started again after aboat 15 years, was 15 in handicap when i stoped playing.

 

I dont know any golfer in this area, how does it work. Il just walk in to a bar and signe up ? Any recomandation aboat the best way to get in fast after arrival ?

Check the thread about golf bars in Pattaya.

 

First you'll want to go to Pattaya Sports Club to get their membership card. Then check PSC's website (http://pattayasports.org/sports/golf/) for a summary of daily outings of various golf bars. Then walk in the bar you like and put your name on the list.

 

Get the PSC card and sing up on arrival day and you are good to play the next day. Note that the bar groups generally play on weekdays only.

I don't know where all the golf bars are, but I know there are several in the LK Metro/Lengkee/Chaiyapoon/Buakhow area.

When you're looking for a place to stay this would be a good area for not just golf but everything else as well.

Witherspoons (corner Soi Buakhow and Lengkee) offer non competitive golf. You can also email the organiser to get your name down in advance if you want - http://witherspoonsgolfgroup.webs.com/

 

The calendar has all of August but not September yet. They also have the advantage (depends on your inclinations of course) of normally one of the latest tee times of most of the groups so gives you a bit more time to recover from the night before

32 !!  Where are you coming from with that handicap?
