Buying teak doors?

Anybody have experience buying hand carved teak doors? Where is the best area? any particular factories that are really good?

I have visited a few places near Chiang Mai that are factories making anything from Teak including doors. I did not find them particularly inexpensive in their pricing though because they had showrooms as well and that is where the mark-up in price comes from. They are not hard to find; just find a local driver and ask him to take you there. Another option is to find a skilled wood worker and let him make them for you. I am not talking about a carpenter here; you need a highly skilled wood worker.

I saw a couple of places off 3rd Road heading in the direction of Nakula I think, don't know if this is what your looking for but may be worth checking out.
