I think there's 2 Chaba huts in Pattaya, if you talking about the 1 on Soi baukhauw next to near wok and rock then it's a great hotel, boss is called da, nice swimming pool, make sure you stay in the new building think it's called Chaba view

If you take the smaller ones at the front they are cheaper and you can bring as many guests back as you can handle.

As much as I love all things Australian, I got to get me action of the asian persuasian.

I've never stayed here but know it quite well as have been going swimming there for nearly 10 years. Its a nice resort, an oasis of calm right in the centre of a frantic city. Well located with baht buses going north and (more) south on Soi Bukhaew. Has its own kitchen but also lots of decent restaurants, including the excellent Cafe Pitini and a food market within a short walk.

3 types of accommodation. 1. The older rooms along Soi Bukhaew. These will be the cheapest, if you happen to get the road side there is traffic noise 24 hrs a day. 2. The newer rooms to the left of the poool. These are quite nice and have balconies. 3. Individual bungalows in the grounds.

Very nice swimming pool surrounded by palm trees.

I've stayed at chaba hut a few times. I've only stayed in the newer rooms in the large building which are very good. Sitting around the pools a bit of a hassle though as they've got a problem with Mosquitos. I stayed at other places in the area & the mozzies are no where near as bad. Staff were friendly & the cleaner was excellent. I'm a late riser especially when I've got an LT, & when I eventually did rise & go for a bite to eat the room was always cleaned by the time I'd got back.

Have stayed here 3 times and never had problems with mozzies, I would recommend the pink huts, they are a bit more personal than the newer rooms. Staff are not the friendliest but definitely would stay there again. Cheers.

But after carrying bags of beer and munchies up 3 flights of stairs they are too knackered to do anything...
