Premiership League Football 2015/16

Only 5 games in and it already looks like Man City's title to lose.

A disappointing day for the Swans but shows why we aren't going to compete for top 5. We do well against better teams but can't beat teams like Watford & Sunderland who are both very poor.

Chelsea having a bad start with only 4 points , not surprised that Everton beat them , City still on 100% success , Arsenal won as well .. Norwich won well also .

I laughed when I saw the Chelsea result - title challenge over and only 2nd place to play for.

Something must be going on behind the scenes for the title winners to play like a bottom half team.

City seem to have that champions luck, managing to score at the very last minute. Utd good value for their 3-1 win, they will not win the EPL but a top 4 finish looks pretty assured.

Not sure who will seriously challenge City now.

Gotta agree with you , United was poor at the first half but changed completely in the second half .. Martial goal was super and so was Liverpool's goal , a def a goal of the month .

Yeah still huge questions marks over Utd. First half was shocking. We could easily drop points at Southampton next week and it wouldn't be a shock. Everything about Blinds goal summed it up. Every move is planned on the training ground in detail. The players have no freedom to express themselves.

Have to agree with you there, although when Martial came on was the point where united should think, "Okay maybe there is room for some freedom".

Liverpool just not gelling defensively, too many errors of the kind you don't expect from a premier league side hoping for a top of the table finish. United at the back were not as safe as the result would have you believe, so again I agree Southampton will not be shaking as they might have in previous years. PSV Eindhoven will be a real test especially as they have just came from winning very heavily at Cambuur and have not lost a game since around March.

Chelsea v Arsenal tomorrow, Jose coming up against Wenger in the backdrop of poor form & possible team unrest. Never before has he found himself in such a cornered position in the EPL & Wenger has plenty of grudges to address. Maybe a couple of red cards in the offing 555.

City will hope that the title contenders cancel each other out & gain a cushion of 8-10 points lead.

Its looking like a great weekend for City. Arsenal or Chelsea will drop points, Utd will more than likely not beat Southampton while City stroll to 3points at home to West Ham. Not even Sky will be able to pretend that theres a title race this season

Well i didnt think West Ham would beat city. Means nothing if Utd cant take advantage tomorrow. Villa, Newcastle and Sunderland are really struggling. Would love to see all 3 go down

Was at the Swansea v Everton game. Not the worst 0-0 I've seen.

TBH Everton deserved to win more than the Swans.

Referee Stuart Atwell was completely out of his depth. Felt sorry for the players on both sides. He had no authority, was rarely in position to see crucial challenges and seemed afraid to make decisions.

He's been kicked off the Premier League list once, or maybe twice? Don't know why he's back again. Reckon Mike Riley must fancy him.

Idiotic challenge by Mirallas. He's got a history of this.

It was at my end so had a good view.

He came on as a late sub and went straight over the top of the ball onto Barrow's leg. Lucky he didn't break it. Studs showing. Aggressive. Nuts.

Even then Attwell couldn't make a decision. The linesman had to tell him what to do.

What a insipid display by Arsenal, they had Chelsea for the taking & couldn't, moaning like school boys as usual. They must admit, they just don't have the players with balls to take on the likes of Costa, Ibra.

West Ham's win was really unexpected, despite their previous away wins. At least, the title race is not finished in September. Great chance for Utd to close the gap to two points.

what a disgrace Costa is and the premier league is so soft he gets away with it. He wouldnt get past the tunnel if Roy Keane was still playing

Shearer said he loves Costa , he stand up for himself against the big defenders ... Thought of that for a minute or two , he is fucking right ... 5555 Keano and Viera , I love to have men like those today ..

Gabriel had his ban overturned.

Costa found guilty of violent conduct and banned for 3 games.

City lost 4-1 to Spurs at White Hart Lane , United took advantage of that with a 3-0 win to Sunderland to go on top of the league . Arsenal won away to Leicester 4-2 . Liverpool won uneasily at Home to Villa , with two goals from Sturridge 3-2 , that win might cool off the pressure for Rodgers .
