Pattaya Bay Resort?

Recommended Posts

PBR veteran here but the last time I was in Pattaya was almost 2 years ago.  Is the hotel still surrounded by a massive construction zone?  Is the clientele now all Indians and Russians?  I've got a feeling it's time to move on to greener pastures.

Any recommendations?  I've stayed at a lot of Pattaya hotels but I liked PBR for it's location, price and simplicity.  I've heard good things about Nature view.

What gave you the idea that the clientele is now all Russians and Indians.?

Last time I stayed (a while ago) most of the other patrons were Russians with some Indians. I'm more concerned about construction noise.

The hotel that was under construction directly in front of the PBR is completed and open for business..it's OZO Pattaya hotel. I'm still amazed that they were allowed to build another building so close to the PBR.

But there is still lots of construction going on behind the hotel where they are building a huge condo project. If it were me I'd look for a quieter place to stay.

Roger that.  I went ahead and booked Pattaya Blue Sky for about 1200 Baht a night.  Fingers crossed!
