Anyone looking for a cheap beer and away from the crowds and bar girls theres a place in soi bongkot (soi16) has a new owner does excellent thai food 35 baht to 50 baht large leo 55 baht large chang 50 baht

 

There are plans to introduce farang food shortly at competitive prices

 

Coming from South Pattaya Road  its about 150 metres down the soi on the left almost at the bottom facing The Mediteranean restaraunt.coming from 3rd road direction its 50 m on your right

 

They also do a delivery service

Your meters are way off. Soi Bongkot is at least a kilometer long, so it couldn't be 150 meters from one end (I'd guess it's more like 700) and 50 from the other (better estimate 500).

 

Edit: Oh, and a name would be good, wouldn't it?

 

Edit 2: Google says about 600 meters from South Pattaya Road and 350-400 from 3rd Road (depending on how you go).

Footy, you may try getting a pic of the place from outside, one from inside the door showing the whole (or majority) of restaurant and maybe a pic of meal or two. A pic of a drink doesn't really do much. Do appreciate you putting up the menu though. So few people do that and wish more would (or at least a link).

Going ever so slightly off topic I think that Soi Bongkot, in 5 years, will be the new Soi Buakhao.

 

LK Group have nearly completed their new hotel opposite Soi Lengkee.... City Centre residence is nearing completion behind Bliss Lounge.....And that big lump of land adjacent to City Centre residence and alongside Nirun has been cleared.

 

Couple this with the fact that the authorities are trying to clean up the Beach Road area to make it more family friendly it makes sense to expand Central Pattaya towards Sukhumvit road. The problem of crossing 3rd road would be solved by making it one way from Klang to Tai, running in the opposite direction to 2nd road.

 

I also think that the authorities will demolish Soi 6 in favour of hotels but leave Walking Street as it is.

 

I think that anyone with a business in The Poon, Lengkee or any other Soi running from 3rd road to Soi Buakhao will see a much improved footfall in the near future.

I think thats the general thought in the area,some quite smart thai business men already opening ventures in the soi, with dance fever attracting 250 to 300 young thais a night at the moment

 

I just want to help the couple as they are very nice and great company

 

Although i wish he would stop calling me sir 

 

 

There is also a 80 condo development going up facing his business, ready in 2017
