Mandatory Bar Closure Day Beach Road Skanks and Singlets Crawl June 1st, 2015, 6PM, Sexy in the City Soi 6-Need something to do?

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

I have a tradition on bar closure days that I will be continuing this June 1st, 2015 at 6PM which is 99.9 percent likely to be a mandatory closure day (Buddha Day).

This will be my fifth time doing this, the skanks and singlets crawl.

  Here are the details:

We meet at 6PM at Sexy in the City Soi 6 across from the Queen Victoria Inn.  The shutters will likely be down so meet out front.  Look for the tall, skinny guy likely wearing a wide brim hat.

Dress code is to dress like a tourist on holiday for the FIRST TIME. Example, socks with sandles, loud annoying Thailand t-shirts, sunglasses at night, short shorts, generic pattaya shirts, obnoxious and loud hats, singlets for beer, fanny packs, etc.

I will have a tour group flag that will we use to walk down beach road like a Chinese tourist group.

We will have several backpacks with liquor bottles. BYOB...... the more the merrier. I will provide a bottle or two but bringing your own ensures we can party as long as possible.

We walk from Soil 6 to Walking Street stopping at every 7-11 for mixers and a drink or three.  This is a great bonding experience and all the girls working this day are lined up and down beach road so its the perfect opportunity for a short time or three.

By the time we make it to Walking Street, everyone is completely shitfaced and the street generally opens at midnight for regular partying. We usually take 4 hours or so for this walk.

This is one of the most fun events you can experience. Keep in mind, consumption of liquor is legal but purchasing is not for this day so no need to worry.

See you there!

Just to clarify: "Stopping at 7/11s for a mixer or drink" - so our good old 7/11s will have the chains on the beer fridges - is that right?  Seem to remember that happening upon occasion.  Sounds like a great idea!  Shame I'll be gone by then.  :Cry4:

Mixers as in ice, coke, soda, water. That is why you BYOB and a cup

Will try and make it. Seems like I should invest in a selfie stick for this.
