LG G pad tablet GSM access ?

Featured Replies

I just got one if these to replace my Nexus 7 that died. I paid an extra $20 to get 8GB more internal memory AND unlocked GSM (AT&T). Does anyone know if I can buy a SIM in Thailand to make use of the GSM data function when not near the wifi? http://www.phonearena.com/phones/LG-G-Pad-7.0_id8649

yes just buy a data simm that you would use in your phone. I presume you mean 3G. you may have to active it in a phone as I could not find a way to do it from the tablet.

I use AIS one 2 call and got the simm from 7/11 but they have a AIS shop in central festival if you need help but be prepred for a wait they tend to be very busy.

Might be best go to TUK COM and get it set up there.

Ok. Guess I'm looking for a recommended place that knows about this device as it is NOT a phone so probably can't activate it the way you would with a phone. This only provides GSM data but no voice except via VOIP.
