Sorry, this guy from the America got confused. I thought you were going to post 12 month calendar girl shoots of Pattaya. My bad, I didn't know you actually meant a real canal. But the progress is good. Glad to see they care about clean water and not just dumping shit in there.

You need a steady flow of clean water, to wash all the rubbish away to the sea, where it's safely out-of-mind !

Plus the stream can double as a new floating-market, for even more tour-groups.

even following heavy rain it no longer drains into the bay it gets pumped away from just past where the rocket ball site is.

as i walked by yesterday i could here the thump thump thump of more piles going in on the canal route as it went threw the grounds of the siam bayshore hotel. i bet that has been pleasing the guests

Saw him outside a massage shop near there, a couple of days ago, trying to blag the girls into paying him for a massage! Sounded Northern European.

Edit. Just realised that's my car parked behind him. Must have been the same day.

Long story short

A Thai on a motor bike almost crashed with a Toyota, avoided the car but ended up in the drain system. This was in BKK. I know this cuz a Thai I'm friend with knew the guy that ended up in the drain . He had just been to 7/11 to buy cigarettes.

He had cuts and bruses, a few open sores , but gave off the impression he was ok. He kept on drinking with his friends.

The next day he woke up with a fever and 72 hours later he died from infections related to the crash -or whats was in those drains...

Happened last summer.
