Siam View Residence, Pattaya Klang Soi 12!

Featured Replies

Can anyone share recent experience with Siam View Residence, located on Pattaya Klang Soi 12? (I never have luck with the Forum's Search function!)

Booking.com offers US$31 per night (no bkfst) in OCT. Seems reasonable. COMMENTS?

Location seems somewhat tedious for WS, LK Metro, & restaurants (except Lengkee), but it does seem that Soi 6 & Soi 8 are rather convenient. TRUE?

Also, Booking.com pictures a rather nice fitness room. COMMENTS?

I once read that there is (was) a Tom Club in this Hotel's vicinity. Then I read that this Club closed. UPDATES?

Any & all other info about this Hotel greatly appreciated! MANY THANX!

CHEERS!

I've just been looking at this too. Would welcome some feedback

Never say never

I have stayed there approx 8 times in the last 10 years. They used to charge me 18000 a month, inc elec/water and cleaned every day. In 2013 they changed that to 21000 a month EXCLUDING elec/water, and only cleaned 3 times a week. I like my room cleaned every day, so that i can come in with a girl to a nice clean room, so that was the deal breaker. Also tales of padding elec/water fees are common. They get a lot of overspill from KTK over the road, so that, so i gather, was the reason for the policy change. Rooms are a bit tired, as are many in Patts, but the rooftop pool is a nice place to relax.

Cool I guess the cleaning thing wouldn't apply for a weekly guest

It used to apply for all guests Everyday cleaning is just one of my must haves!! Might not bother others.. For the last 3 years I have stayed elsewhere for 18k a month all in. Great wifi etc, downside is no pool which I miss but plenty of alternatives..

I couldn't imagine anything worse than bringing a girl back and expecting her to lay in last nights takeaway mess. I had one close call when housekeeping where running a bit late at @Mind and I had a date due at 3. Cleaned and sheets, towels and dressing gowns changed with seconds to spare. Phew!!

Booked in with Nova gold now.

You been there before? Keen to get some feedback - especially on how "isolated" it really is. Looking at the map it shouldn't be too far from second road?

I Stayed at @Mind last October which is a couple 100 yards or so from it so know the area well, a bit shabby in part but I like that feel. Great cafe with good people watching spot 2 mins from it. I like the fact that its 500 yards to soi 6 and same to Central road. there is a nest of hotels so no shortage of transport options, swarms of biketaxi, laundry, 711 etc. Staying at Nova Gold gives you option to use 2 other hotel pools, Amari Nova Suites or Nova Park. I love the location, perfect for me. Ticks all the boxes.

I don't drink so renting a scooter was one of my better idea's there. Paid for itself first day and I love the buzz of picking up a girl on the bike and having options like food inbetween sex at 3am, or shooting off to her place or other random stuff.

I spent every xmas there for 6 weeks at a time over a period of 4 years, and my room was cleaned every day without fail.
