Featured Replies

thought i would like to try somewhere different, can anyone reccomend a good mid range hotel (areca lodge standard) near the action street end, thought about r/con but reviews seem a bit negative, must have all the usual mod cons for a 3/4 star hotel, have tried too check but doesnt seem too be that much in this area or along this part of the strip....many thnx

Thep Apartment. Down a Soi opposite Marquee Bar. I just left there after spending 2 weeks. 700bt all in a night.

Never stayed there myself, but friends have recently stayed at the Golden Sea,next to nickys on buakhao. Also nature view gets good reviews.

Few good ones on soi honey for 1200-1500 baht/night such as the Scenery and Honey Boutique.  The rooms facing soi honey are very quiet.

If you want nearer Action street there is Marin place near where the market goes tues/fri. Can`t remember the name but there is also one on bend of the road going towards pattaya tai  sunview? maybe a review on here somewhere.not a hotel, but the dania guesthouse gets good write ups on here.Nature view is around 8oob i think.Again have never stayed in any off them.

Hotel Dania opposite action street, or nature view2 mins away

Golden Sea has a lot of Chinese people staying there.

This is not a problem in itself, but they do have a habit of being noisy.Leaving their doors open and shouting to eachieve other along the corridors.

We are located on just off (50mtrs) soi buakhao have a look at our website and search on here for reviews, thanks

I'm situated about a 10 minute stroll from Action Street, have a look at the rooms and rates via my link.

Nature view and hotel Dania, why do you need to book via agoda ect? Those 2 hotels you pay when you arrive, both have what you are looking for

You might want to consider the Mercure hotel behind the avenue sc on soi 15,don`t know if it has a name, but if you want a bit more "upmarket" might fit.will be on agoda .

+1 for Hotel Dania. Pool with nice patio, restaurant and nice rooms. Small rooms 700bht and suites 1200bht. You can make a reservation with email and pay when you arrive. Dania is located directly opposite of Action Street.

I would definately recommend Sunview Place  http://www.sunviewplacepattaya.com/index.html

I made some comments on that hotel in 2013 but comments here are saying that it's still as good as when I stayed there.

It has everything you want: pool, 24h reception and security guards, on bahtbus routes, 100m walk from action street and large room with a balcony will cost you less than 850Thb if you don't make any reservation ... just come up to the counter and ask for a pool view room ... offer 800Thb a night and they will surely accept since it's low season and hotel must be half empty.

Very nice staff though and eager to please.
