Options to go from Pattaya to the USA embassy in Bangkok

Can anyone please share their ideas on costs and options to go from Pattaya to the USA embassy in Bangkok to renew my passport. Thank you

Bus from Pattaya to Ekemai bus station (about 120 baht)

Walk 100 metres to Ekemai Skytrain station (free)

Take train to Chitlom (about 40 baht)

Walk up Wireless Rd to the US Embassy.

I'd get off at Phloenchit (31 Baht from Ekamai).  The skyway (Exit 5)/footbridge takes you to the Bank of Ayutthaya on the corner of Wireless Road.  A short stroll down Wireless Rd to the embassy from there.

FYI, the US Embassy does a "outreach" to Pattaya a few times a year, in fact they were in Pattaya 3 April, it could have saved you a trip to BKK,  Their next visit to Pattya is scheduled for 10 July and you can do a passport renewal if you can wait a few months.

Google USA Embassy Bangkok and sign up for their e-mails to get a heads up on various citizens' services.

Sign up with the US Embassy Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. You'll get emails of the dates of their outreach program and if the shit ever hits the fan in Thailand the embassy has an idea of where you're located.

Another alternative is to take the airport bus from Jomtien to swampy and then get the skytrain into the city.  I went to the Embassy early last week (could not wait for the outreach of the 3rd because my visa expired on the 1st) and was there within 2 hours 15 minutes of leaving Jomtien.

Yet another option is the Bell Bus from Pattaya to Bangkok. A mini-bus picks you up at your hotel/condo, then transfer to the airport/Bangkok bus. From the Bell bus Bangkok terminal, they again use minibuses to take passengers to BKK hotels. You can choose the Conrad, which is next door to the US Embassy. Do the same in reverse to return to Pattaya. It amounts to door-to-door service for a few hundred baht.

You probably already know this but you can't just show up. You need to make an appointment online.
