Nightlife in Det Udom

When in Isaan you want some nightlife if you stay with your honey out in the bush with her family. I stay one week every year, and I know some hidden pearls after 16 years with the same honey! It takes me exactly 1 day to do some excursions outside the village. The first day in the village you are getting drunk... The nearest town south of Ubon is Det Udom, 45 km om highway 24. You should have a rental car in these area ! After one day in the village you are ofcourse looking for ST, perhaps LT... In Det Udom you look for Kasikornbank, on the left. 50 m before Kasikorn you turn left into a street paralelling the mainstreet in the towncenter. After about 100 m you will get a dirty hotel on the right.Next to it a evening sing/karaokebar. Here the action goes on: you check in for a night at the hotel(nothing has been done the last 20 years). A lot of thai teenagers use the hotel for ST/LT. You head for the neighbouring musicbar, order some beer and enjoy the different girls singing. If you like someone spend 100 baht or more for some tip to her. When finished you ask her for ST or LT. I am not sure about this mo - thu, but in the weekends enjoy !
