Prices for what? and on how many years?

Ok, I've back one week on a two month holiday. A few things have gone up but it's still small money. When it comes to girls I have had 3 LTS and 3 or 4 STS so far. One girl was from a GG with a BF of 800 bt and LT 2,000. Others were BB Girls for 1.5 LT and a Soi 6 girl I took for 2 nights at 1.5LT. Now I also have many girls on speed dial I can still ST for 1k and a Thai street meal.

 

Most gogos and gogo girls are expensive. One of my favorites changed from Babaydolls to Living Dolls Showcase, her barfine has doubled at 1,500bt. I used to give her 2K LT but she may not tolerate that anymore. Still lots of fun to be had, just watch the lady drinks, they really add up. I like to see how my money is being spent. I bought 22 drinks for me and 22 LDS over the first 7 days.

22 LD's in 7 days isn't exactly racking it up but you are right, if you are not careful they can break a budget.

Im now in Patts. Prices have definitely gone up since my last trip of from5 to 10 percent.  This is offset somewhat by the strong dollar exchange  of 32.5.  Oneway to hold down cost is eat thai food and barter.

Things may have gone up, but I find that I am spending far less each trip. Less lady drinks, more thai food, steady girlfriends( free), and basically learning the ropes and also learning that you don't have to spend a lot of money to have a good time.

But spending months here at a time , you have to learn to be more thrifty with our money

I kept a log this trip, and had a great time averaging 1750 baht per day. And I am enjoying myself as much as when I spent 5-6 k per day

If my calculations are correct 175-/32.50 is $53.54 a day, round this off to $54.00 a day. 54*30 = $1620 a month. Planning on retiring in Pattaya with a retirement Visa, so in my grasp of having a smile on the face it will be budgeted between $1600 - $2000 a month. That is a great bargain forget about buying LD each night or paying a BF to get someone to come with you, this is just a waste of money. looking at getting a hotel with a swimming pool for the sun and a breakfast bar, with women always thought that FWB was a great way to go, there seems to be a lot of women this will pay a visit at a guys place to help pay their bills.

Not sure how much have prices gone up but EUR went down so much that it really starts getting expensive.

The last time I was in Thailand was 2005.  I remember mid-range hotels were about 1500b per night and that seems to have not changed much. 

 

From what I am reading on this website the girls are what have really gone up.  In Bangkok (I was not in Pattaya much so I don't know there) LT was usually quoted at 1500b and could usually be negotiated to 1000b.  ST was usually about 500b.  Looks to me like times have really changed in that regard.  The girls are cleaning up.

Coconut was 20 BAHT before, now 40 BHT.  I do not know what post talk about, but my last trip I was surprised by the relatively high food prices in the shops. For example, sausage, cheese, chocolate and wine. Noodle soup more expensive from 30 to 40 BHT.

The price of beer in some beer bars went very last period of 10-20 BTH up. If you're talking about GG, it might be true. Sometimes the cause of the reconstruction of the bar, the new management etc. and prices immediately jump. What name bar you mean? Somebody can tell you.

Food does seem to be considerably more expensive. My TGF is for the first time in 2 years in pattaya and complaining that where you could before buy a large pad thai for 30/40BHT, you now get a small one for 50.

Even a glass of coke cost 150 bt in some Agogo in walking st , I'm not going there anymore ... Fuck that shit, I'm happier to pick up a freelancer and bring her to my condo with few drinks from 7-11., more chance to get robbed from walking st than the freelancers .

For me the weak euro makes all the difference ,allways go pattaya for three weeks in august ,

last year was lucky around 45 baht for euro in august ,at the moment  only 36 baht.

Am more aware of prices now,before went to flipper group hotels ,but last year went for promotion,800 baht  in sabai lodge hotel,

no breakfast  included ,but just took snacks from  big c  supermarket ,in restaurants  only thai food .

Bargirls ,only from beerbars or soi 6 ,ST 1000 ,lt 1500 ,for young popular bargirls sometimes 2000 LT.

Ladydrinks only when interested in bf ,or when i pick up a regular in her bar ,sometimes meet up with regulars in my hotel.

Never took girls from beachroad ,but never say never , quality and safety hold me back from trying this.

Its getting more expensive in pattaya for sure ,but in my own country its the same .

I need my pattaya holyday , as long as i am healthy enough to enjoy it , i keep going back.

The only real price rise I have experienced is in BF's and ST/LT rates other price rises seem insignificant in comparison!
