I would guess www. onlinepharmacy .fakecom

I certainly would never buy these ED tabs that the Thai Hawkers come around the Bars with.  Whilst you expect them to be Generics you don't expect them to be Copies of Generics !!

God only knows what goes into them but you see Guys freely buying them just playing Russian Roulette with their lives.

If you must buy that crap at least go to a Pharmacy where there maybe some comeback in worst case scenario

Yes, plenty of gullible people looking for miracles by swallowing inert materials.

im amazed what and how much people will stuff into their body.

I take a ibuprofen/parralen/paracetomal (all same) if I get a headache.

I have been known to try a kamagra jelly~

and thats it.

I prefer to avoid ibuprofen etc i prefer to take a quiet walk, or lay in the dark.

I can understand people using drugs for pain, regularly if it gives better quality of life for certain issues.

but..... seems an awful lot being used especially in the US, im no expert, perhaps just my upbringing, i don't know.

Are people really believing whats advertised, and or doctors/therapists getting well off from pushing products?

just a question. no offence.

.

It's not so much the people believing what's advertised, as their real doctors are usually adequate checks and balances to avoid falling for stuff like that - that said, psychiatric drugs *do* work and allow people to enjoy normal and increased quality of life, though they are not always 100% effective for 100% of the people.

For those people that they work for, the turn-around can be amazing. The problem is when people self-medicate, and decide they no longer need a given drug because they feel fine" - this is usually the beginning of roller coaster drugging, and ends up bad.

What is far worse is the people falling for quacks or acolytes pushing nonsense miracle cures, when they have real ailments, and foregoing actual medical help.

Good write up here: https://www.facebook.com/hatepseudoscience/posts/485124054968795

With pseudoscience comes pseudo-experts. Remember that it is impossible to master a subject for which there is no empirical evidence, objective data, or cogent reasoning. Bigfoot experts cannot tell you what a bigfoot sounds like, how they mate, what they eat, or even their lifespan, leaving little room for expertise. Paranormal experts cannot tell you the difference between an EM field caused by electrical equipment and one caused by a ghost, or how we know that orbs are "ghost energy" without knowing any source of such energy or a way to measure it. Cereologists (crop circle experts) have shown time and again that they cannot tell the difference between a hoaxed crop circle and one whose origin is unknown. It seems, to be an expert in these areas, all one has to do is listen to an abundance of anecdotal stories and take notes. Then we are free to add heaps of speculation, and if groups of people agree on that speculation, we can call it expertise.

The worst offenders are those who pretend to be experts in medicine while denouncing well established medical knowledge. Nearly all quack doctors will attempt to woo you with their credentials right before they tell you that experts can't be trusted. They attempt to give you specific advice on this or that disease, and then accuse science of suppressing the study of such advice, leaving us to wonder just where, if not through research, did this knowledge come from. Accusations of conspiracy and greed, appeals to open-mindedness, and criticism of modern healthcare are not the tools we need to become an expert in any aspect of human biology. Again, it seems the only real qualification needed to be an expert in alt-med is the ability to regurgitate testimonials. Some will offer poorly designed studies and endorsements from MDs, but these just serve to confuse and further distract you from the underlying lack of real knowledge or demonstrability.

The only real skill we see in common with all these pseudo-experts is manipulation of human psychology. They know how to push the mental buttons that encourage belief without having to provide actual evidence. In the world of pseudoscience, as in the world of marketing, what people perceive to be true is more important than what actually is. This is why they target the uninformed, the sick and desperate, and why they constantly frame themselves as the underdog being treated unfairly. In a society where critical thinking is seen as a special interest rather than part of a basic education, this marketing strategy works very well.

Given that prescription drugs kill hundreds of thousands of people a year and that there are no studies on the interactions of combinations of drugs that many people are taking it is hard to know who to trust.

Further when you look at the way many drugs are pushed to market on the back of dubious and at times even blatantly falsified evidence and the way doctors are incentivised to push drugs onto their patients it is really a case of buyer beware.

The other market ie vitamins and supplements manufacturers often have no standards at all and no value whatsoever and ironically are sometimes owned by big pharmaceutical companies. Mostly at least these substances do not cause any great harm other than to the pocket of the consumer.

Big Pharma are the real crooks, paying Dr's kickbacks to prescribe more drugs..

The last three posts are all true to some extent. It's not easy navigate the minefield that is health 'science.'

Snakeoil salesmen and their dupes are worst. They promise magic cures and healing where there is none, and subsequently there will be some people that forego real and effective medical treatment and instead use the quackery - and they die.

In the meantime the acolytes and dupes will chant how bad 'big pharma', while the snakeoil criminals pocket huge profits.

“It is the natural tendency of the ignorant to believe what is not true. In order to overcome that tendency it is not sufficient to exhibit the true; it is also necessary to expose and denounce the false. To admit that the false has any standing in court, that it ought to be handled gently because millions of morons cherish it and thousands of quacks make their livings propagating it—to admit this, as the more fatuous of the reconcilers of science and religion inevitably do, is to abandon a just cause to its enemies, cravenly and without excuse.”

No drugs are as good as the food / drink you consume, Google is your friend, you can find out so much online.

Here are just a few I found interesting.

The biggest crooks are big pharma because they are making more money out of their scams than anyone else.

Statins to lower cholesterol is the biggest money earner of them all and the biggest scam of them all raking in something like 30 billion a year.

75percent of people taking them don't have CAD and are putting their health at risk from taking them with all their nasty side effects with no benefit.

Plenty of dodgy dealers in the vitamin game too but at least mostly they are not harming anyone and they don't hide behind the so called authorities who they have bought out anyway.

What a disgrace.

Whilst I agree with you in principle about food the problem is that food just aint what it used to be.

The food chain is just so degraded.

The soil is weak and lacking vital nutrients. All sorts of chemicals are sprayed on the food that are toxic to humans.

GMO crops are adding even more problems to the food chain.

Why do you think so many people are getting cancer these days?

There are just way too many chemicals in the environment.

We weren't built for the type of world we have created for ourselves.

Your quite right so have to be choosy, but its not so much the raw stuff we eat, many cook the goodness out of it by cooking it to death but its more the processed food and drinks.

Mac D's for example, a burger you can leave in a cupboard and go back a year later and is still edible, I mean come on, if you can learn about food, proper food and especially herbs etc you can cut the chances of disease later in life dramatically.

Here in Thailand the local farmers markets have good stuff, they rarely spray any of it and most grown on small farms, I am not talking Big C or those big stores where much is imported but the local fruit and veg is the right stuff.

The big pharma co's and Dr's produce customers not cures

Statins to lower cholesterol is the biggest money earner of them all and the biggest scam of them all raking in something like 30 billion a year.

How is saving peoples' lives a scam?

This isn't to say that some people are prescribed statins who don't need them, but the vast majority of statin prescriptions are there to reduce cholesterol for people that have a lethally elevated range.

Obviously, the affected person should use the reprieve that statins buy them to go on a diet, and reduce their body weight, and switch to a healthier diet - and I have little to no sympathy for people that use drugs in order to continue to enable their own unhealthy lifestyles.

Nevertheless, lifesaving products are far from a 'scam'.

- erectile dysfunction drugs are a scam

- various vitamin supplements are a huge scam (albeit, as pointed out, they are mostly harmless as they just get pissed out).

- miracle inert products (like cordyceps) are a scam, particularly when the product doesn't even contain what it claims to).

- vanity based products like botox are scams, with a temporary effect that requires the person to come back for more and more.

- dodgy cancer 'cures' are a fatal, homicidal scam by opportunistic scam artists, that kill cancer sufferers.

- alcoholic beverages are a huge scam.

- cigarettes are an even bigger scam.

Oddly, many of those calling on 'big pharma' as such big scammers don't seem to have a problem drinking themselves into a stupor, or smocking their ciggies.... or the occasional viagra, etc...

Food for thought.

The same thing applies to a regular burger that you cook yourself. It's sad to see people fall for these stunts that assume the ignorance of their audience.

This is the original debunking of this misrepresentation about MacDonalds burgers:

http://aht.seriouseats.com/archives/2010/11/the-burger-lab-revisiting-the-myth-of-the-12-year-old-burger-testing-results.html

There's plenty of reasons to dislike MacDonalds - you just don't have to fabricate things, or lie about it.

Which is invariably what these 'natural food obsessives' feel like they need to do.
