Hotel near soi 8 or LK metro Newbie advice

I visited Thailand twice and stayed in Sun shine hotel & residence both the times 

 

Visiting again in June 2015 for a week need expert advice on hotels Budget 1250 BHT per day 

 

Looking for places new agogo bars & beer bars , sound at night not an issue

You may get Flipper Lodge on Soi 8 for 1250 in June. Not sure about Flipper House on Soi 7.

Chalet Suisse is in that area, nice rooms and Tino is a good host, worth a look.
