Page-10, The Stay or Sea Mme Spring .....

I just booked 7 nights at the Page-10 Hotel for my upcoming trip in April. However, later I read some reviews, which were not very positive in the sense that this hotel has lots its past glory and that the rooms are not worth the price etc .

I have stayed at Sea Me Spring last January was really impressed overall although it is a bit pricy for the comforts that they provide. However, I will want to stay again there if there are no better options available on the Soi-10.

I looked at "The Stay" which looks pretty nice and the budget of 2000 + Baht suites me fine.

I could request a pros and cons comparison from people who have stayed at either of these three properties, which will enable me to either continue with my booking with Page-10 or else cancel and book one of the other options.

I have stayed at Page10 and the Stay almost exclusively my last 3 or 4 trips to pattaya.  Basically Page10 is older and looks a little worn in the rooms, but i really like the location and the staff.  I usually stay in the deluxe suite or whatever at the Stay, but it is much more expensive but nicer.

To me I prefer page10 because of little things with the staff.  When a lady comes to visit me and Im upstairs, they just call me to confirm, and then let her up.  The Stay makes me go down to the lobby and sign her in.  I know thats a small thing, but sometimes I dont want to walk downstairs for that.

I always book Page10, but will book the Stay when it is not available.

To be honest you would not go wrong at any of them

Page 10 is a little "older" but its hardly old. All three have plus and minus points and you will always see both +ve and -ve reports on just about every hotel in town.

See the update I have done on the Most Booked hotels thread

I used to stay at Page 10, however last trip I changed to the Maytara on the corner of Soi 11 and 2nd Road. One block away from P10 so a good location, relatively new, has a pool (although I never saw it), free wifi (although sometimes a little spotty) for about B1500. Thought it was good value.

Is that the place with the television that is low to the ground so you can not see it when lying in bed - and the wooden bench in the room that seats 2 people instead of a sofa?

Have stayed in all and if you want new and save money then try The Scenery City hotel in Soi Honey / 2nd road. New and 1200p/n. No breakfast and basic rooms.

Enjoy.

It is better to check on Agoda.com.

For April, superior balcony w/breakfast.

I would say a real bargain...

The TV was mounted to the wall.

My stay in Scenery City last month, really a nice hotel, no complaint with this price, although the swimming pool at G/F is little bit small......

Scenery City and Maytara are my choices in that area.

Been looking for a photo of that pool for a long time . Looks good for a dip just to cool down , that's all I need . Is there any deck chairs ?

Posted

No not enough space for deck chairs and no sun really gets in there unless in the morning.

DSCF8810.JPGI stayed at Page 10 earlier this week; the pool is on the roof and is compact as is the gym. Both were fine ... and yes there are deck chairs/lounge chairs in the pool area around the corner from my photo that particular day..

Does the stay have a good gym. Or any free weights!
