Destiny Agogo and Hotel

Hi everyone,

 

just letting you know that Destiny Agogo and hotel in LK Metro has new owners.  2 guys from Australia. I've attached some pictures of the rooms for anyone interested.

 

If you have stayed in the hotel we would like your opinions on anything you think needs improving.

i would love to try this place again as i love the location.

however after my first trip there I have booked 2 other times.

 

First time i arrived nobody was there and all the doors where locked and closed up leaving me stranded in LK Metro on a Saturday night.

Second time i emailed to confirm my booking a week before arriving and never got a reply so didnt want to take the chance of getting screwed again.

 

Should I give it one more chance?? Now its run by Aussies it might be worth having another go.

From now on there is always someone around to help you when you arrive.  As for the 2nd point, if you have any issue getting a response from reception or reservations, send the email as if you know me. Then reception will pass it on to me and i will make sure you are taken care of.

 

And i hope you do think its worth giving us another go.

I will definitely take a look at the girls next time im there. I usually prefer hotels with a restarant.

The cost of the Jacuzzi room is 1350baht a night.  Noise levels are ok, but if you are a light sleeper you might find it a little noisy

Could you post all your room rates high season/low/ standard delux etc,daily and monthly rate,as new owners sometimes means new rates.cheers.

Hi just got back from Australia myself. Will be in Pattaya for a month in May. will check out your hotel as I have already stayed there before.

Just stayed there for nine nights.

 

I loved the place.  I stayed in a large room.  Very spacious.  Staff very friendly.

 

It is a bit noisy but personally I had no trouble sleeping.

 

Would definitely recommend the place.

I stayed there a couple of years ago and loved it. I am booked there in mid-May for 9 nights again. It is in a great location and the price is right.

Wow, the rooms look great.  I love staying on LK, but in multiple experiences with different places I've consistently found two issues, those being sewer gas and low quality mattresses in the room.  Could you comment on those two things?  At your price point I'd hope those things would not be issues.  Would love an honest assessment though as I have upcoming travel plans and am very interested in this guesthouse.

To respond to your questions, the sewer gas is not a problem and i did ask some guests staying hotel for their opinion.  As for the mattresses, all the guests i asked about this said they were completely satisfied and comfortable.

I stayed in Destiny before. Was in Large room, very good service and amazing rooms. Girls like it. And balcony to LK Metro the best choice.

Maybe will stay here in December. But in low season i think little bit overpriced

Hi Totek, thanks for the feedback.  I agree with you on the low season prices so now the rooms start from 650 baht a night. I think the new prices are a lot better.
