Ubon Ratchatani nightlife

Get around in Ubon last night, as every time there is a main meeting point for foreigners in Ubon: Wrongway pub in the middle of the town.Not much of pub, but you can get some tip about life in Ubon. Not far from Wrongway is a splendid thai pub, the Chill. Located on the mainroad not far from Robinson. Perfect for drink and talk,mainly full of young people 17 - 25. In a soi behind Chill you will find a soapy massage, now closed for refurbishment.Progress shown made me happy to get back in a few months.

Straight over the main street, located behind Regent hotel, was an old dirty go-go. Now closed and for sale.

For nightly entertainment take a taxi (there is a lot og them with meter start on only 30 baht, do you get a taxi incall add 20 baht extra) to the area between Wat Nongbua and Big C. Head for restaurant and club Angels. Live music and the best selection of sexy dressed stunning girls in their 18 - 20 I ever seen ! I couldnt believe it! In this area it seems to pop up a lot of such venues.

For operational soapies it is two in operation at this time: Long Beach behind the Patumrat hotel always with good selection of girls. Last year priced 1300 - 2000 for the youngest.

100 m far from Bodin hotel you will find the second one, nearly middle in town. Yesterday very good selection: priced 1500 - 1700. I walked out of there very satisfied !

It seems that in the karaoke in Regent hotel you can get a shorttime also: the waiter outside told me to come inside for boom-boom...

Always a good tip for ST in Ubon in general is to ask the bellboys or in the reception to get a lady to your room. A lot of young girls do extra money for their studies, as Ubon has a big university. I had one of my best experiences in Patumrat hotel when i asked for a girl ST: a 20 year wild 3-holer got to my room for 1500 baht !

Only thing about Ubon, Its very spread out and you need to do a lot of walking to find where everything is, Normally stay on the T3 hotel, Few eating places. Noticed the Go Go last time, but i didn't fancy walking in on my own!!!!

 

I am sure over time, the place will get better, But i like Khon Kaen for a few days rest.

T3 hotel is very ok location. You can order girls to your room for "happy massage" to your room there. Only tell one of the beauties in the reception what you want. Rooms is 600 baht.

Another good choice is Phadeng Mansion for 500 baht over the street from Wrongway pub.

Just had a few days in ubon and the soapy near peppers is now opening, few girls sitting outside and the agogo was lite up when I walked passed. For ubon with 3 reported soapys and other places to go, must be one of the better places now in issan. I was down near by the outside inn and I was offered the works when I was walking passed a massage place,but I am sure it was a ladyboy lol.

 

In khon kaen now and the place is looking better with a couple of new bars and restaurants near the kosa hotel, some bars given a facelift, but very quite.

I have take a lot of girls to my hotelrooms in Ubon, ordered from the Bellboys (in most cases) or from the reception: as Ubon is a town with a big University, there is a lot of girls 18 - 21 years who do some extra money for school. They where always 8 - 10 +, sometime stunners in bed also !

Are most hotels ok with letting you bring a girl back? Thinking of doing 3-4 days in somewhere in issan next time but want to make sure there's stuff to see in the daytime too.
