Recommendations hotels in March under 1500 Baht including pool

I'll follow this thread with interest as I've been trying to put together a list of possible hotels for future trips (staying in Jomtien in June/July) and I really don't want to pay more than 1500 baht a night in Pattaya!

I'm looking for something on Beach Rd or one of the Sois between Beach & Second Roads rather than Soi Buakhao but also want one with a pool - but with built in steps not just metal ladders.

I was hoping to scout them out during my next visit to book for Christmas but I have a very short list so far!

Only VT6 on the off chance I can find an agent on site with lower prices than the websites mentioned on this board and Sabai Lodge on Soi 2. I can get one of their slightly better rooms for under 1500 and standard rooms for under 1000.

I've stayed there a few times so wouldn't mind it, but it would be nice to find a few more options.

I have stayed at Sabai lodge soi2 before but it's a bit too far from the action I find. I stayed at diana oasis before and was great but they seem to be booked up quickly.

Yes, I can see that if you spend a lot of time in the Buakhao/LK/Honey etc area then getting there from the Sabai Lodge is a bit of a pain, though getting back is not too bad.

Unless I change my routine, I tend to stay around Sois 7 & 8, Post Office etc and occasionally Walking St so Soi 2 is OK.

Struggling to find anywhere in my price range South of Centeal Pattaya road now though - especially with the sort of pool I want. I may have to re-assess my requirements!

Fresh air and a balcony to smoke  :Think1:

OZO looks nice.

Is there a balcony?

No Balcony and the rooms are small but modern.

Chaba hut or hotel dania

Dania has the huge suites for 1200bht and a nice pool. Rooms have a balcony and if you are afraid of the noise get the room facing the backyard. Great value for your money.

LK Metropole have rooms which are not attached to the hotel but are located above the 7/11 in front of the hotel and are 1000pn and you can use the hotel facilities......never stayed there but the rooms look ok for the price.
